How can you tell if the insulin is no good? I have had it since Oct 1 2014. Which would be about 6mos. It is not cloudy. It doesn't have little things in it.
Michaels #'s are staying pretty flat.
Please look at his SS. Any thoughts?

Paula, FWIW, every time I've thought my insulin was too old and switched to a new vial, it turned out that there was nothing wrong and Cinco just needed a little more (or there was something else in play). If you are caring for the insulin properly and it looks good, it can easily last longer than 6 months. I agree with Chris that a dosecrease would be a better idea than a new vial or pen. I hope it helps!
