Hi all,

What to say about today - disheartening comes to mind. I don't think I have ever seen such lousy numbers in the morning, not since mid-February when he tested at 582. ohmygod_smile It just sucks. Funny thing though, this AM he was there in our spot waiting for me at 4AM - such loud purring, leg rubs, kitty affection. Somehow I knew I was going to get an truly ugly number. Oh well, gave him lots of hugs, way too many chin and head scritches, told him he was a good boy, and not to worry. cat_pet_icon and this evening is a better night - a rather rapid descend so he will get lots of spot checks.

Yesterday's Condo

WCR: Today has been a day for head rubs, tummy scratches, cuddles, purrs that would break the noise barrier. well maybe not - but affection does rule the roost today. despite numbers that suck he's content, happy, hungry, playful. One would never know he almost broke 600.

Hey Michelle, that is quite a recovery for Mannie! He didn't seem to mind one way or another based on his WCR. But I bet you are very happy to see that beautiful blue number tonight. Great work Mannie, keep going! Especially the loud purring, I love it when kitties purr loudly like he does.

Yep, it is a good recovery, and i really shouldn't whine so much. especially when he just never seems to mind. nothing compared to the days before we knew he had FD, and what was wrong with him. Those were really bad days - that he did know, that he did mind.

ok - whining is over - blues for a while and i am so glad to see them. I know he is too - he has been so adamant tonight about me testing him: meowing up a storm, purring up a storm, in our spot - comon' mama bean, poke away... - i think he wanted me to see that he really is doing great, and we shall win the war. dancing_cat dancing_cat
