Morning ~O) a nice AMPS for Maggie and it looks as if she had a nice pm surf. Some good news for Detective Poo's daily log dancing_cat Maggie had some nice prezzies earlier, and a sizeable amount. I was a bit worried as yesterday's deposit was so small, and it had been four days since a bm! Since her enema on March 1 (and per the Vet), I've increased the Miralax and kept the Lactulose the same. Maggie's dose is 1 tsp + 1/8 (divided thru the day), and this seems to be working. Thanks for all your poo vines, as they sure helped.
All other P's are good to go, and I should be getting a call this morning from the Vet on Maggie's b/w and urinalysis results. I will keep you posted on it. Mags has been on the Orbax five weeks now, and paws and fingers crossed the infection is clearing.
We have more rain today, so good news for Zener's Beans with more snow sent their way. I hope to get out today for a little shopping, as I was a home buddy yesterday not wanting to get out in the cold and rain! :lol: I know, warm compared to the rest of the country. Have a nice day.

Detective Poo, here, checking in this first thing this morning and YAY for POO!!! Nicely done, Mags! :-D :-D :-D I am very pleased with this report. Paws crossed for the lab results.

And thanks for the snow. We got a bit over 12" but the forecast is only for a couple more. We'll see. I'm off to start shoveling, roof raking and snow blowing. :-D I hope I have enough energy for skiing.

YAY for a very nice blue start, and for prezzies! Well done Maggie. Looks like she did have a nice blue surf last night. I so love it when that happens. She really is doing well on this dose. GO MAGS!

I hope you get good lab reports today. Has it really been 5 weeks? Seems like it was just yesterday... I hope all comes back with good news. I am glad too that she has tolerated the Orbax as well as she has. What a plus that is.

have a good one today, and I hope you get out some. A small hike today for me with DD and DGS. YAY! I hope you have good weather too!

Thanks Josie for all your poo vines support. I think this dose of Miralax seems to be the one. I was hoping to decrease the Lactulose slowly, per the Vet, but I'm afraid to rock the boat.

Morning Detective Poo and thanks, as I thought you would be pleased! No kidding, 12" of snow, wow! Yes, save up some energy for skiing and fun in the snow today. TWC was showing Flagstaff just as I turned it on yesterday.

Hi Michelle, just saw you up there. Yes, five weeks already on the Orbax. It seems like I just had her in there for the diagnosis. Yes, the Orbax was a good antibiotic for Mags and did not affect her appy too much, except for maybe pickiness, but I think that was Mags being a cat. Great on the mini hike with DD and DGS today/ It will be a wet one here, but I hope to get in a short walk.

Yes, absolutely. Do it slow on any changes will be better for these sensitive little ones. If Maggie is doing good on the Miralax dose, easy on the decrease of the lactose. Let her settle down & stable first.

Hi Ann. Nice slide down to the Lagoon this morning for Maggie. Fingers crossed that she plans on surfing there for the day and for a good vet report on her B/W urineanalysis.

I hope Maggie's numbers are in the good zoneso you can go out today. Have a great weekend.

Short stay in the Lagoon!

Hi Amy, thanks on the prezzies and hope so, too, on good news of kidney infection clearing.

Thanks John for your visit and the good vines on Maggie today. She's been quite hungry with the drop to 75, so I'm not surprised she brought herself up to 152. I guess it gives me time to do those errands I didn't get done yesterday, too.

Maybe she just came out of the lagoon for a short bit, and will go back in again. Good that you get to go out for a while anyway.

Some good news from the Vet on Maggie's labs. Her kidney infection has cleared, but we're keeping her on another week of the Orbax. Unfortunately her renal values didn't improve as we had hoped.

Hi Barb & Checkers, thanks for your visit. Mags did touch down this morning in the Green Lagoon, then exited, and I wouldn't bee surprised if she gets her green kini on once again for the pm cycle.

I'm glad Maggie's kidney infection has cleared. Sorry her renal values didn't get better. I hope they didn't get any worse.

Hi Ann & Maggie,

That is good news that the kidney infection has cleared. Hopefully now the renal values will begin to come down (maybe it takes a while after an infection clears?). Anyway, Maggie certainly had a nice surf in the lagoon today. The LagoonMeister was there briefly and said how great she looks in her green bikini.

Thanks Carla, yes, good news with the infection clearing. The renal values stayed about the same.

Hi Ella, that's what I'm hoping that her renal values will come down in time since the infection just cleared. We're still keeping her on the antibiotic for another week. Oh, Mags is flattred that the LagoonMeister liked her green bikini! :-D

Thanks Josie, her numbers have been good lately, anti-jynx!
