Don't spend too much time analyzing Rebecca. First, he IS a cat so things aren't supposed to make sense. And as long as he stays under that 250 mark and in healing numbers, things are good, very good.
Sometimes a cat just has one of those cycles that makes you scratch your head. It could be just a partial fur shot, or it could be weird absorption, or he could have been a little worked up or stressed, or it could be that his pancreas was taking a little bit of a break, or it could be that his food came from a batch with a slightly higher carb content. Looks like whatever kept him out of the greens last night has resolved, and he's back on track for today. You and Jose are doing great!
Got home later than expected and missed his shot time by an hour. His +13 PMPS is 157. I looked back at his numbers and saw that I shot .5u on a PS number of 167 and his nadir at +3 was 69. I'm leaning towards not shooting tonight. I'm not feeling well and would like to go to bed soon and get a full nights sleep. If I shoot the .5u I won't feel comfortable not testing. So no insulin tonight again.
