    Good Morning LL! Well we're bouncing today, but it was a nice long run of green. KK never made the promised appearance, next time though. This is quite far enough to bounce, Little Miss. I guess i get to take the morning off, which is good because I have a tree i didn't get finished w/ the repotting last night.

    WCR All 5 Ps and a very hungry kitty today, she even came back to make sure the bowl was licked completely clean.

It was very nice of Tess to let you have the day off so you can finish your gardening. Hope you enjoy it and hope Tess gets back to great #'s by this evening.

* I tested at +6 and got a 330 with the infinity meter that we are using now. I also got a reading with our old Maxima meter which was...266 :o We had suspected that the Infinity was high in the higher numbers, but this is about 20% higher. We had compared the two meters when we first got the new one, and maybe saw a 10% difference, but only tried on BG values less than 200. They were close for values less than 100. This would explain why her bounces have been so much higher lately.

damn meter! I will compare mine again - i too tested, at the higher numbers too, and got a 10 % variance... I wonder if that is still true. then again... since I was out of maxima strips I compared with the one touch. well either way - we know for sure that the infinity will test higher and I would love to use it a an excuse for Mannie's higher numbers and the severity of the bounces.... works for me. but wow: 20????

Tess is getting back to business tonight. :-D She also joined Mannie in the clean plate club.

Michelle, The 20% difference is a bummer. +/- 20% is always quoted as the standard,, but this is pretty consistently higher. I may call the rep, I was going to order the case soon, but now I'm reconsidering. I wonder if I can get him to send me a new Maxima, my old on doesn't always turn on to review the tests. We tested w/ the Maxima too an got a 96.

yep - I hear ya on the meter. it is higher - every time I compared. Didn't matter so much with the lower numbers but the high ones are a killer... and what to do. the strips etc were more affordable for me, one of the reasons i went with it. I like the one touch ultra I have too - bur very pricey strips, and well the way Mannie can go through them - mighty expensive. and yeah - same with my maxima - it was crapping out, half the time it wouldn't turn on....
