Pumpkin's still limping this morning. Last night she came to bed for snuggles. I kind of wish she hadn't because she absolutely bounded up her little stairs, but it was good to see she's in good spirits. Very healthy appetite this morning, and she had her first bowel movement after the sedation and bupe.

Now let's do our best to hold onto the BG gains from the past few days, and rest up that leg.

Pumpkin peed outside her litterbox again. She went to the same area where she did it last time. It's a much farther walk than her actual litterbox. It took real effort to get over there. She had to walk a third of the way there, then rest, walk, rest, then walk the rest of the way. I had already retrieved her once, but she was really determined and made the journey again.

Her regular litterbox was freshly scooped and everything. I guess maybe it just has bad associations from all the times when I would be away all day and the soiled litter would build up.

I've now blocked off the area where she was going until I can get a new litterbox to put over there. She went in her litterbox a couple hours after the accident.

Very discouraging. We're making progress on the BG, if slowly, but this leg sprain and the litterbox issues are worrisome. The urinalysis came back negative, so this isn't a UTI, it's something else.
