Good Morning everyone! Ah, yes! It's an hour later than it was this time yesterday - don't we just luv daylight savings time? NO:eek:! I just wish they would pick a time and leave it the same all year round. I for one have a hard time adjusting to it...makes me tired and cranky. Heaven only knows, I don't need anything to add to my already 'tired and cranky' attitude...

Luci hit a nice little bit of the lagoon yesterday and is now flying high in the lemon tree...but no worries...she can cover a lot of ground in a little bit of time and perhaps today will grace us with a bit longer run in the lagoon. Maybe she needs more time for that depot to build up...but she was looking better yesterday..

I find it amazing now that the media is so encouraging of common sense as far as the transmission of germs is concerned - by the use of common things; food vendors are now removing the 'common' mustard and ketchup containers and replacing them with individual packets'. They are encouraging everyone to wash their hands - and wash them some more - they're handing out sanitizing wipes at the grocery store for your cart handles - and in some stores, doing it for you!

Where has all this common sense about cleanliness been until now? People have been transmitting all sorts of germs and contaminants on their hands for years without a care - at the gas pumps and credit card machines, restaurant menus, door handles, handrails, elevator buttons - the list goes on. Now with a novel virus threatening, all the common sense has come to the fore ground....I hope it's not too little too late.

I made a suggestion to @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) late yesterday - if you're curious about how often you touch your face, get some blue chalk - actually any color will do - put a good dusting on your fingers - and see how long it is before you get it all over your face! You'll be amazed...

Ok, climbing down off my soap box now so I can get back to sanitizing everything I touch :D:D

Have a great day everyone! May your kitties surf safely!

Good morning Sue, totally agree with this time change thing, omg I didn’t want to get up, I like it better where it gets dark earlier since I go to bed so early, heck it will be daylight when I go to bed now lol
Germs....yuk
Looking good Luci!
Have a great day Sue

Hope Luci heads to the lagoon safely today.
We went to Costco the other day. One of the clerks asked DH. If she could clean the handle of the cart with a Sani wipe. Never been asked that before!
Have a great day Sue

Now days "everything" is DRAMATIZED ! " Most cases of corona virus infection are not severe, 80 percent had mild infections. The flu, like the corona virus illness, can also cause pneumonia and breathing trouble.
A Chinese visitor visiting the United States at this time is 10,000 times more likely to die from influenza than an American visiting China is of dying from corona virus. This strain of corona virus appears to be far less contagious than the flu. ( You can also read the opposite opinion on some sites. It's all dramatized to get people interested)
https://www.mdmag.com/medical-news/the-fear-of-the-corona-virus-and-the-reality-of-the-flu

The fact is, influenza is an illness that is far more deadly but also far more familiar to us. The current corona virus outbreak, which originated in China, serves as a surrogate for a good deal of xenophobia and fear of the country i

I've had Strep pneumonia & ended up in the hospital twice so I don't want to catch any flu if I can help it. I agree with you about washing your hands It's really just common sense  But then again 38% of people thought Corona Beer could give you the Corona Virus !!!! ( It's the "dumbing down" of America.:arghh: )

Saw this clip on the news yesterday. A man saw another man of oriental descent on a train or subway. Don't remember which. Anyway, man #1 started to yell at man #2 . Man #1 wasn't pleasant at all.
Then man #1 started spraying febreeze on man #2. Like the febreeze was gonna do anything. Some people are overly paranoid to the nth degree.
