I'd ask your doctor what they are comfortable with - with Jax, I did a token dose (he was on 1.25 and I gave 0.25...I believe I landed on 0.25 since his AMPS was <100...I think his doc had said I could give 0.5u but my memory is fuzzy) and the team just monitored him - he was also tightly regulated and he tested 60 in the parking lot lol. We also had to fast - I think his doctor let us do an 8ish hour fast (I'm reading my own SS :joyful: but still not quite sure). In summary, I'd talk to the doc and see what they recommend. Skipping is always an option too!
 
Ok so of course I was an hour late getting g his PMPS which was 63. I fed with no insulin and rechecked half hour later and he is 60. When do I shoot and should I shoot his normal???
 
Don’t know how to record what I did but I think it’s ok. Insulin was given at 8:20 and PMPS was 81. Not sure what I should have done in the situation I was in. But I decided to shoot slightly lower. Thoughts from anyone???
