Simon's yesterday.

He is two days post-dental, and I think he's feeling pretty spry. This morning I heard a giant cat fight. That never happens! They were sparring over a packet of catnip that had fallen down from a pantry shelf (it came with a scratching post). Everyone got a little nip, and peace was restored.

While I was fixing breffis and doing the whole routine, I made my DS age 7 a bowl of cereal and put it on the floor. He was like "Moooom, I'm not a CAT!" We laughed. There are lots of kids and fur kids and Mom got mixed up!

LOL! I love it! That's like the time I was doing a bleary-eyed 2am test on Atticus and gave him a test strip as a treat.

Simon was sending you subliminal messages "Cereal for Simon". I'm glad your son straightened you out. Simon is doing really well after the extractions. Is he having any problems with his food?

He had such a nice PMPS and I just got a good, green, +3. Honestly, he is acting like he feels pretty great! I am not sure that we will be needing the whole course of Bupe. How long did others' kitties need pain meds after extractions?
 
What a great dental recovery, it was a week before I saw blue after Vyktor's! I kept him on painkillers for about 48 hours.
 
That's probably about right. He had incisors and the two tiny upper first premolars extracted. Who knows what he really feels, but those are all little teeth and hopefully there was minimal trauma. He eats fine and fought with Molly today...signs of a good, healthy kitty!
 
Nice advice for Fred Kim, very helpful of you to give those links and good catch on the lantus might be fine, well done :-D
