Hi everybody. Sorry I'm so late posting today. I know that you were probably wondering what was happening with Tori. Lots of things were going on today and I just couldn't get on here sooner.

Well she spent a pretty good night. She actually even took a little bit of a snack on her own. I was so pleased. I didn't test as often as I wanted to during the night. I remember waking up at 4 when my alarm went off. I was so tired I could barely move. She was lying beside me giving herself a bath. I remember thinking "She's OK. The kitties must have been here. She looks so much better." Then I passed out again for a couple of hours.

She's doing better today. So far I haven't had to force feed her. She's been taking small amounts of food frequently throughout the day. It has to be topped with the shredded chicken though, That's all right by me. Her temp is down to normal and she has been grooming herself. All her meds have been given and one dose of fluids. She didn't like that much at all. I had to give them by myself (usually someone holds her paw and soothes her). I got them in though barely. She seems really played out though, sleeping a lot which isn't a bad thing. It will help her heal. I think we are both just exhausted.

So that's it for now. I must run for a little bit and take care of her and my grand daughter. Will post after I feed and shoot.

My heart goes out to everyone who has lost a sweet baby during the last few days. Too many losses, way too many losses.

Binks says Tori was sweet enough to tell him story after story last night..(lil poop doesnt seem to realize the purpose of the visit was to help HER rest)

but maybe she's tired out from that?

He says she even told a story or two about you, Barb...but when i pressed him for details he just smiled and said

storees only fur kitties...but Barb sweet laydee!

Hi Barb - it is wonderful to read that Tori feels better today. eating, bathing, all good things. I hope that the both of you were able to get some much needed rest. And the numbers are not too bad at all. Paws crossed that she continues to get better.

I too heard that there was much story telling amongst the kitties. and paw holding, and some good ole fashioned chicken soup. Mannie brought her a special bowl so that it would be easier for her to eat. Tobey was very gentle with the massage - he's quite good ya know. Lots of head petting, and paw holding. kinda nice I think.

and yes on the losses her this week - just too many. I feel for them too.

She ate about half of her dinner and you can tell that it took a lot out of her. After she ate a bit she just laid down with her head resting on her mousey Socrates. Ayanna covered her with her cat nip blankie and she has been laying like that resting now for about a half an hour. You can tell that eating causes her quite a bit of discomfort. I gave her her Buprenex and hopefully that will help. I'm going to hold off on the fluids for awhile and just let her rest.

All in all it has definitely been a better day for her yesterday. She still has a long way to go though. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. I'm hoping that the KTSS will pay her another visit. Those visits mean so much to her and she always seems to feel better afterwards.

Ni ni, Barb & Tori. I'm so glad today was a better day for Tori. Rusty will be along with the KTSS shortly. Yes, those kitties do know how to take care of each other. Hope you get some good sleep tonight, Barb.

Hi barb - i am glad that overall today is better for Tori. I hope the bupe helps tori to feel more comfortable tonight. Hang in there little one. You guys are in our thoughts, as always.

Mannie has been very busy, prepping the roadster, restocking supplies. He found some really cool fleece that he hopes the kitties will like, with a special one for Tori. You tell Tori not to worry, that the KTSS will be there as soon as they can.

Have a good night Barb - I hope you are off work, and can spend some time with your girl. If not, no doubt the KTSS will fill in.

Great, encouraging report for Tori! I hope you are able to get some rest as well. Willie is excited to be providing Tori some company tonight and is working up one of his liver smoothies just for her.

barb I looked for your update yesterday and don't know how I missed it. I will be watching more closely for today's update. Glad to hear her temp is back to normal and she's eating small amounts frequently. Sending more hugs for you and Tori. Hang in there.
