Peadoodle...my big pink toad again this morning. Little bit of dry dog food got left down last night...it was gone this morning. I suspect Mr. Pook helped himself....shame on sleepy beans.
Nuisance had a hairball he couldn't get up last night so heard 'eechk...eechk...' run run 'eechk....eechk...' run run for about half an hour. I have to laugh altho' it's not really funny - his hairballs are about the size of an almond but it takes him forever to get one up. Luckily it doesn't happen but a couple of times a year.
Now - my special story for today. If we slow down and look at the world, there are small miracles and blessing everywhere! I was standing in a long checkout line yesterday, in front of me was a Mexican grandmother and her granddaughter - probably 4 years old or so. They quietly spoke spanish to each other so figure grandmother didn't speak english. The aisle I happened to be waiting in was one of those with all the little figures, 'touristy' things like 'Texas' shot glasses, Oklahoma coffee cups, keychains, all that type of stuff. Down on the next to bottom shelf were 5 little Madonna figures (around here, for dashboards). The little girl got down on her knees, lined them all up, folded her hands and quietly said something to the first one. She moved it aside and did the same thing with the next one...each one got the same reverent treatment. When she got thru with the last one, she crossed herself, got up, whispered something to her grandmother and walked away. I have NO idea what she said, what she was thinking but right there on the floor in busy Walmart - I received the most wonderful blessing in the World!!!
Thoughts and prayers today for all that need them and all the new sugarbabies suddenly appearing.
HUGS to all!!!
