PMPS Dose reduction to .50

Well, Daphne is working on the second cycle of her new dose. Fingers and paws crossed it holds. :mrgreen:

I know that the AM numbers come down last, but I was wondering if Daphne's AMPS #'s are being extra stubborn? I was looking at other SS and their AMPS come down a lot more then Daphne's, when they are at this low dose. I know ECID, and I haven't looked at very many, just a few...

I don't know the answer to your question, and I didn't know the amps come down last. But, all fingers and toes and paws crossed that the new dose is purrfect for Daphne :-D . She's making great progress! :YMHUG:

I know i've heard that pre-shots are the last things to come down, so hopefully as Daphne settles into this dose her AMPS' will come down. I know alot of kitties have their highest numbers of the day in the morning, Roni likes to call it the dawn effect i think (don't quote me on that! :lol: ) But still very nice numbers for Daphne today!

Have a look at Mikey's ss (from Mikeys Mom).

I hope you're feeling better, I've notice you've been doing a bit of condo hopping, hope I don't need to dob you in to DH!!!

Thanks Tracy, yes I heard of that dawn effect, it sure looks it for my Daphne girl.

:lol: Now Serryn, you wouldn't do that would you :cool: ... he does yell at me to get off, because he knows it hurts me. I feel like this place is family, and we need to keep in touch with family right? I'll look at Mikey's (mom). Thanks!!

It really is hard to stay away from LL, isn't it?

Daphne seems to be queen of the Dawn Phenomenon, but the rest of her numbers more than make up for that. So far so good with that new dose!

Amy, I was talking to my neighbor, and when she was at a fundraiser for Ewing Animal Shelter, she gave me this name for pet sitting. I know you probably don't need their service, but I just wanted to share it with you. I didn't meet with them yet, but heard very good things about them. I didn't know they offered so much (Talked with her today, but didn't read their web site.) We have not left Daphne with anyone yet, since her diagnosis. I don't know how I will be able to leave her though.

the Dawn Phen. (notice how i avoided having to spell that!) is documented. i read some stuff about it being in humans too - some speculation about hormones released during the night being part of it.

i have seen it on a number of spreadsheets of cats nearing OTJ. as all the rest of their numbers come down, the amps is the last one. i wouldn't worry about it too much - and OHMYGOSH what great numbers for daphne today!

i am addicted to this place. it's terrible. i get on and think "i'll just look to see if anyone needs help." then i think "i'll just check and see if there's anyone new that needs encouragement." then i think "oh a picture? i'll love pictures!" and then it's "i haven't checked in with so and so for a few days, i'll see how they are." and before i know it it's been HOURS! i'm like the book "if you give a mouse a cookie . . . "

i think i've grown roots into my chair since i got on FDMB. it's pathetic. :lol:

Hi Barb...what a great day for your girl today. I hope she keeps up these lovely cycles. IMHO she is doing so great that you can just take a deep breath and let that AMPS come down when it's ready. You have enuff to worry about and Daphne's SS looks terrific.

Thanks for the info! Yeah, with how complicated feeding my herd has gotten, I don't think both DH and I could go anywhere together and actually relax, but it's always good to know someone is out there! It was hard enough to leave them when everyone was healthy and on the same diet :roll: :lol: !
