Come on down Checkers! Nice +2. It is definitely headed in the right direction. Maybe he just wanted to peek up there and make sure all his friends were vacated. I can't tell a lot of the time what Tarragon's numbers are because he is just so happy and playful anymore. Checkers doesn't care what his numbers are. He is just having a great time being a cat. drat on the red! but hey... given the amazing surf he had yesterday it's not surprising I guess! seems like he bounced lower than before and is coming down slower! I think he and Rupert are having brunch on the pink floor at the moment. Have a great day! Hope you get some nice numbers like you did yesterday!

You had quite the lev baptism, but the bounces still happen. I hope it's a relatively flat, slow slide down for the formerly bouncy Checkers.

He's still coming down very slowly, :-D don't have his journal in front of me.

The vet that changed the prescription to lev, called today, to see how he's doing . I was surprised she called.
This pleased me. Sort of :lol:

When I told her about yesterday's low numbers, and how they are higher today, she mentioned that, "we might have to change his dose". Oh gees, I hope she isn't going to try to micro-manage us.
I couldn't very well tell her, "no thanks, my support group will help me with that" :roll: :lol:

Checkers stayed pretty flat yellow all day. I noticed late this afternoon, he seemed to be in pain, and I gave bupe shortly after shot tonight. I wish I had done it sooner, but that's hindsight.

I ordered Duralactin, after vet suggested it, but I'm not sure now, that will be enough to ease his arthritis. It may help long term, but for now, the bupe works well.
A consult with his regular vet is in order again, about pain relief.

So you and Checks made the switch to Lev and had an exciting night last night? It sure is nice to see him flat, even if it is him being flat in higher numbers, at least he's not doing his usual high diving! :-D I'm sorry to hear his arthritis is bothering him, i sure hope the bupe works wonders on him and he's feeling better soon.

Hi Barb, Nice of Checkers to give you a "rest day"! And he didn't dive!!! That's a real bonus. You will have to give Lev. time to settle in and hopefully you'll begin to get some good, consistent results.

Enjoy the evening. And enjoy the warm weather we're supposed to get tomorrow!

Hi barb - sorry to be so MIA. Sure sounds like you had an an exciting day yesterday - WOW! and how nice of checkers to give you a resting day today,.... so far.... right checkers? this is a resting day? Tonight lloks ncie and steady. it seems like he switch to Lev was a good move for Checkers - so steady now, ad no dives. unless i have missed those. GO CHECKS!

What a great flat cycle.....that's so nice to see the slowness.

I hope I didn't overwhelm you yesterday Barb. I was so excited for you all and I remember when we started lev with Gracie...it was like being a newbie all over again and having no idea how to react or when to feed, etc.

I'm here to help you in any way I can :-D glad you enjoyed little Gracie's videos.
