Happy Friday!
Binx continues to scare me in the evenings, last night dropping way more quickly than he's ever done from PMPS 184 to +4 32. That 32 really scared me and I LOADED him up with HC... almost an entire can by the time I went to bed. So it's no surprise that he spiked a bit this morning.
I also decided to start the pills the vet gave me this morning, mostly because I didn't want to prolong starting treatment and it already took us a week to get this medication sorted. I will see if it impacts his BG numbers this weekend and course correct if needed.
The thing I'm wondering now is if I should decrease to 5.75 or 5.50 or hold at 6.00 units. I know the depot from 6.50 is still impacting these cycles, but that 32 really scared me. PLUS, the thing that I learned today, after receiving the labs back from the internist (we reran some and added urine) is that his urine came back negative for glucose... I'm not well versed here, but all his previous results have had glucose so is this either good control or worse, he's seen too many hypo numbers recently? If it's the latter, I'm wondering if a decrease is warranted.

Hope you had a good start to the weekend!

I did see mentions about the tumor "pulsing" too or something along those lines, so values can be a bit harder to predict. Agreed for extra caution, as you noted too with the new hyperthyroid treatment.
