he's had a good day - although he was clear and vocal in letting me know that 8pm is too late for his dinner when he hasn't eaten anything since 11am!

i also went and bought more test strips. this evening's ps is the lowest pmps he's had since we started checking, so i'm thinking i'll check him some extra times tonight just to make sure it doesn't go too low.
 
Hi Julie, nice PMPS! Whenever you shoot your lowest PS ever, we suggest you get a +1 and +2 to start out.

You don't need to hold off on feeding Punkin for that long, it is just better to not feed after mid-cycle (or nadir). Maybe you could split up his food into mini meals, and feed at PS, +2, +4, +6. Is he used to grazing?

FYI...I feed at PS, +2, +3, +4 and a snack at +6....unless numbers require more intervention. I have an autofeeder, that makes it much easier! I can't free feed, I have a piggie civie that would eat everything up in a flash (and then throw it up, of course!!)

Hi Julie! Hey Punkin! Really wonderful numbers for Punkin. I agree to that if this is the lowest you've shot for Punkin I would get a +1, and a +2, so that you can have an idea of where Punkin is headed tonight.

I probably would give a snack somewhere mid-day too, maybe @ +5 or +6. Mannie usually gets some chicken around +5. The begging kitty alwasy got to me. :lol: :lol:
