Odd cycles for the girl. If this is her version of bouncing, I'm all for it!

Other than poop dancing, not much happening in our small corner of the high desert. Very lazy days here.

And a sea change in Rowsie, the torti terror. She's been rubbing against the dog, rising up to brush against his chest, brushing against his sides. Just now she was on the couch, Will standing in front of it. She leaned over and rubbed her cheek on his floppy lab ear. Poor boy. Froze in place. Got his huge Michele Bachman eyes (whites showing all around) and looked at me as if to say, "OMG, help me mama; she's going to eat me!" Strange bedfellows! I suspect some nefarious plot on the cat's part.

Polly's still catching up on sleep from the all nighter on Tuesday. Oh, to be a cat! I'm hoping she finds a nice blue number to surf tonight. And tomorrow morning. It's Friday. I have no flexibility with work. Hear that, little girl.

Never trust a tortie! Poor Will. Polly's got it right. Just ignore her and sleep. I hope she lets you do the same tonight.

Oooh, I can hardly stand the suspense! What a cliffhanger! Will Rowsie ambush the unsuspecting Will? Will the trusting lab turn the tables and be prepared for her assault? Will Polly wake up when it all goes down or snooze on peacefully? Tune in tomorrow!!!

Nice blues this evening, Miss Polly. Some more of the same tomorrow would be quite all right. Just don't get any funny ideas - mamabean has to go to work! Save your hijinks for the twilight hours!
