3/5 Mauer AMPS 214, +2 200, +4 128, +5 106, +6 94, +7 90

What about moving the shot time earlier so that the onset of Lev is at a decent time in the night? Do you still shoot at 10AM and 10PM? what about moving it to 6Am and 6PM? just an idea... i can imagine doing what you do every night is not sustainable...

If it's a decent onset, then I'll have to get up in the middle of the night to give insulin. But I have thought about moving it just a bit forward. If she just wanted to go back to daytime lows instead if nighttime :D

I just got home and someone has peed in my bed..... I don't know who :banghead:
And my sheets was in the dryer already, so it was literally my bed and not just the sheets....
Theo is still peeing in my couch during the night, when he's not sleeping. But there's sheets with plastic on the back, so my couch will survive
Mauer had quite a drop while I was gone, despite the feed before I left.. she seems a bit tired and I think she had glucose in her urine some time this early morning, cause I found litter in my bed...

Not a good start to your day. Does Theo have medical problems, too?

I forgot you had the rabbit. I was thinking it was another cat. I love rabbits!
Miver is Mauers brother, from the same mother, different litter. Mauer is two years older than him. Theo is the rabbit, completely black, which I hate.. I can't take pictures of him, and my couch is black.... and yeah, I've come close a few times where I didn't see him :oops:
And then there's Coco the dog. I forgot that Coco Chanel was a female, so he is a male with a female name :p:D
Mauer and I are the only girls, and we enjoy that! We snuggle a lot :joyful::D

Do you have other pets than Susie?

Besides Susie I have a 12 year-old golden retriever (the best dogs), named Molly Pop. She is the love of my life. Such a good girl. I have a fairly new and very rowdy foxhound name Kali. Fergie is my African Gray parrot. My Mom (who lives with me) has a cockatiel. I am raising a visually impaired young Muscovy duck in my backyard pen and am also helping to feed 11 other young Muscovy ducks in my front yard. And, of course, there is my girl Susie (with the socks).

What kind of dog is Cocoa? I'll probably forget about all you babies and may ask again someday. Susie says "have a great day" to you and all your babies

and she hopes Mauer will surf in some slightly higher numbers for you tonight.:D

Oh my! I love birds!!!
If it wasn't for the kitties I'd have lots of birds! They're really amazing! You must be very busy with all those pets :p:D

Last year I had a friend's rabbit on vacation, he was blind. Not born blind, but due to a condition where his eyelids grew inward he became blind. If I didn't know it beforehand I would never have seen it. He was running full speed ahead in my garden.
Actually until January last year, I only had 1% or less vision left without glasses. Now I have 60% and 40%

Coco is a mittelspitz, you know him as a American eskimo. Like pomeranian but bigger, and orange :D
Retrievers is awesome dogs. My mom got her dogs ashes back today, she was a lab and Retriever..

We say thanks to Susie, with the lovely mustache! :bighug:
I'll think Mauer is bouncing, and I'm about 90% sure I'm going to reduce her tonight. Or maybe that's a bad idea when I'm expecting a high pmps?
I need sleeeeeeeep! New clean sheets and a warm shower, sleep would really be the icing on the cake!:p

@tiffmaxee Elise, I have a somewhat silly question.
I'm thinking of reducing. If it holdes it holdes, if it doesn't I would have gotten some much needed sleep.
However, I think she's bouncing today. And her pre-shot is probably higher than usual. I know Lev and Lantus isn't that great in getting numbers down, but better at keeping them there. So would it be better, if I waited on the reducing?

You are reducing not because she earned it, but because you need sleep. If you really need sleep tonight, reduce tonight. The depot will still control the first part of the cycle anyway.

But I still not want to ruin too much by reducing..

I've had many cats with my various birds. The cats never bothered the birds. Quite the opposite. My cats were afraid of my birds but I have had big birds. Cockatoos and my African. Poor bunny with the blindness. Isn't it amazing how animals can live with, and thrive, with their disabilities? I'm sorry that you have had vision problems but it is wonderful that you can see better now. I have a cataract in my right eye and it drives me crazy. Not with discomfort or pain but just lack of vision. When I sign up on Medicare later this year the cataract surgery will be my first move. Eskimos are beautiful dogs. I have to look the Mittelspitz up on the Internet. I'm sorry for the loss of your Mom's pup. The goldens and the labs are my favorite dogs. I know you need sleep. I hope you get some good advice on this. Thanks for the info, Sasha. I always feel a little closer to folks on this site when I know a little bit about them.
