These bounces are wild, we thought we were done with these shenanigans! We jumped in earlier last night with higher carb and it seemed to keep him flat, maybe that's the trick? Usually we start with lower medium carb and work our way up if we needed to and that used to work for him. Seems like now we should be doing the opposite starting higher and working our way down. Every time we think we are getting the hang of this he throws us a curve ball :cat:

I think it's a bouncy weekend for alot of us!!
:banghead:

What kind of high carb are you using? Wet is better because it clears the digestive tract faster.

Sly's numbers are giving me anxiety, so I can relate! Lol!

Indi's usual fare is raw which is very low carb so we keep different varieties of Weruva in different carb %'s for him to try to keep him flatter...try and fail lately
And what about factoring in the calories too :banghead:. Such a balancing act!
DH says I sound either really smart or really insane after a test bc I'm trying to calculate the carb% to feed to prevent a dive-bounce and keep it in line with her caloric intake for the day and the lower phosphorus. Oh and more often than not, she's on a flavor strike. The last couple of days she only wants chicken purees. No shreds, no pates ?, no mix with duck or turkey etc, just Weruva Classic Press Your Lunch/Dinner chicken and the WX chicken puree :banghead: . So weird.

Hmm I never even thought about it that way. I do roughly count calories but I haven't worked out exactly what his Weruva is per meal the way I did with his raw. I have just been doing a guesstimate of his daily intake and weighing him every week or so to make sure his weight is stable.
Something else to obsess about my Hubby will be thrilled

This is the issue I have. Sly is tubby, so it's a balancing act!

OMG I'm sooo sorry. Me and my big mouth .

Anything that can help is always appreciated!!! :)

I'm lucky that Indi had weight to put on so we feed him whenever and whatever, we try to feed in the earlier part of his cycle but he has his own ideas. His weight is good now so it's just maintaining :cat:

Sounds like one of my non diabetics. She'll love something, so I buy a case, and then she decides, nah, I don't want this!!

I hear you! Chispa is bouncing all over the place this weekend, and the thing that was working for a while (5% at shot time, 12% at +1 +2 to keep her from diving, LC after that) doesn't seem to be working now. No idea why.

I'm not even thinking about calories ... too much chance that my brain will explode.
