3/5 Gus - OTJ Trial Day 1 - AMBG 68, PMBG 67

So I’m a bone head. I went to bed real late last night - was very tired this morning (2 hours sleep) but if there’s a time to do this, now is it, I guess… I found this mornings syringe tucked beside the bananas.. I’m 100% sure I did not give him his drop dose this morning, everything is pointing to me not when I run through my morning routine.

I’m gonna go ahead and call this morning the start of his trial! I’ll update his title as well. But hey, 56 @+5.5 with no shot… good start buddy!

Haha. You know, I saw that and thought you were on my thread, was about to reply then realized it was Rainbows/LMs thread … then I got confused to why you were calling it a trial and not a reduction .. wondered if you were taking to me. lol

I’m curious as to why is it that on a OTJ trial, we only test twice a day with green readings. My poking fingers are itching! Gus is probably happy about it though.
So from what I've derived from other otj trials. If it's a low blue you feed and test again in a few hours to make sure the pancreas is bringing them down to greens.

Otherwise no reason to. If they are green at the 12 hour mark logically I would think they would be green after as pancreas is gonna work the food.

Good point. That makes sense! Thanks :)

I might need to take up knitting …
