WCR: Some Ps in place. I just don't know what's up with her. I'm about two seconds from packing her up and taking her to work with me so that I can make sure she eats and check her BG. While those are lovely blues for her this morning...that's not normal for her and therefore sends up red flags. It's also taking a lot of coaxing to get her to eat...even the good stuff. I just put down a little plate of 18% Friskies Chicken in Gravy and she started off eating it like her life depends on it...and then a few bites into it, she just looks at it. I say something to her and she takes another little bite. Oh...and she's been burping a bit more lately and holding her tail a bit funny, every once in a while. I don't know how to describe that...her tail. Sometimes, she goes to sit down and it's almost like she can't figure out which way her tail should go...to the right? to the left? to the right? It's very strange to watch.

She did snuggle at bed time and she came in to help wake me up this morning, but otherwise, she's a little distant. :( This all makes my heart hurt because I don't know how to help her and I hate that I'm so busy at work right now. If I could just get to Tuesday...life gets a bit simpler. Wishing everyone a nice Wednesday.

Sending healthy vines to all our sugar kitties and their hoomins! Blessings!

Sending lots of healing vines to sweet Shasta.....if you have been at work a lot, maybe she just misses you....it sounds like things will settle down some next week....I would just give her lots of extra love when you can.....If bringing her to work with you is an option, I would do that, I wish I had that option at work!

Adding more vines and prayers. I know Shasta is a bit...um...feisty....about the vet, but maybe a visit is in order. I wonder if she could be having either a constipation issue, or an anal gland issue. I know you expressed them the other day, but maybe she has an infection or something along those lines.

Feel better, Shasta!!!!

Morning Deborah :coffee::coffee::coffee:

Appy vines for Shasta. Eat up little one. I hope whatever is bothering her passes soon. I can remember thinking the same thing with Mannie: if only I could take him to work with me....

Have a great day, I hope all goes well.

Deborah, a bus load of vines for Shasta. Come on little girl, eat. Feel better. We're all pulling for you to get your sassy self back again.

And vines for you, too, Deborah. So hard when we don't know what's bothering them. Breathe.

I just started to write my reply and Shasta put her paw on my hand as if to say...don't even think about not petting me. I know...more pets, less worry. Thank you all for the vines for Shasta. She ate ok today and she did eat all of her dinner. I think that's one of the things I'm worried most about/confused most about. Within a typical day (minus the past few days), she eats 3+ ounces....sometimes it's closer to 4 ounces and yet, she continues to lose weight. I know it's a part of the diabetes. Goodness, I wish I could do that...eat lots and lose weight. :rolleyes: Thanks again for all of the vines and well wishes.

Oh...and I finally broke down and bought some Mucinex DM Max Strength. The cough has gotten worse...a bit bronchitis-like....but no time to get to the doctor. :oops: Oh well. I'm getting a bit loopy, so headed to bed soon. Sweet dreams.
