Maggie is a happy camper today. I gave her FF Seafood Feast and a little Merrick Surf n' turf after her pm shot last night, and also the same a few hours before AMPS. I notice the Surf n' Turf just rises her bg a little, so if I don't want her to drop while I'm gone, it seems to work if I add it to her lc food. All P's in place this morning, even lb! Have a good Friday everyone. Special thoughts and healing vines to all the kitties not doing so well this week.

Hi Michelle,
Yes, Maggie likes a little of the Surf n' Turf, along with the FF Seafood Feast. I find when I need to leave, it bumps her up a little to keep her safe and I don't have to worry.

Yes, I'm up for something to do today, Mannie. How about something relaxing, like a short hike thru the country for some fresh air!

Hi,
I'm not sure what caused the spike, but have an idea. this morning as I was twisting the syringe trying to get rid of the bubbles, I most likely did not get a full half unit in her :sad: Or it could be the Surf n' Turf Merrick food.

Yes, still looking for Wellness, but I stocked up on FF Seafood Feast and bought another line called Blue Wilderness chicken that is lo carb. I have a larger Petco here I can also check. You mentioned you found some at a feed store - I was wondering what is a feed store?

Much better PMPS. Maggie has been sleeping almost all day - right now she's on a lawn chair by the patio enjoying the nice breeze. She was with Mannie earlier. It's been a tough day for her. :lol:

don't know if i've mentioned it...but i come from a very large ranch...and went from a town population 154 to the City of Angels and then Portland.

Hi Ann, I hope you can find the Wellness soon. I was lucky: my pet food store (which also is a laundromat!) ordered me a case of Turkey a couple of weeks ago and it turned out to be one with good dates. I have to get them to order for me, because they don't carry a lot of stock.
To answer your question about a feed store: a feed store specializes in feed for farm animals, but they usually carry pet food, too.

good luck on the Wellness search!! Have you tried the Merrick BG varieties? They are 2% or less, and Willie seems to like them even better than he likes Wellness!

Oh how funny Celi, the geographical thing with the feed store. :lol: I grew up in a small town in PA but have lived here in southern CA too long.

Hi Christie. Yes, I've tried the Merrick BG 1 Chicken, but Mags is not fond of it. She likes Surf n' turf Merrick, bit it spikes her a bit! Have a good night.
