Re: 3/4 Lucian AMPS 191

Guess he got over that half dose the other day. :-D

Funny thing, the closer he is to normal numbers, the louder he is. :-D
Instead of coming in with a 'can I have breakfast?' little meow, now he comes in with "HEY! GET UP! I'M HUNGRY!" meow. haha_smiley I never did go back to sleep, was laying here watching tv and he let me me know he was ready to eat about 15 min ago, and not in a nice way, he could have woke the dead. And that IS his normal meow!

That used to be the way he would wake you up when he needed to go out, he'd get up in the middle of your chest and MEOW really loud, in your face!, you had no choice but to get up, it would scare the h*ll out of ya!

Nice to see some things are getting back to normal. :-D

ROFLMAO!!!!! Oh I can so relate, why do you think only 4 out of 14 cats are allowed to sleep in the bedroom...lol I have a lynx point snowshoe siamese here that will do that if he is in the bedroom, now he has figured out that the heater vent in the kitchen leads directly to the one above our heads in the bedroom...so if we aren't up 15 minutes after that buzzy thing going off, then he will scream into that vent... cat_pet_icon

OMG that's a smart cat you have!

Lucian can't get much flatter than this!

He's been in bed with me for the past 3 hrs. cat_pet_icon I even tested him there.

Sneakers would first paw me in the face
Then 'comb' my hair (WITH claws)
if none of that works she works around until we are face to face and then she SNEEZES

That last one will get me up every time

Another bounce........maybe.
New Pen today and having a hard time getting the insulin out. No idea why.

Yep its a bounce. I think you have him on a good dose now since he can get and hold blue for awhile, but those blues still feel wrong to him. Just let him sit on this dose until he quits bouncing.

Okay now a trick for getting insulin out of s stubborn pen. First make sure that the inside plunger thingy is all they way to where it bottoms out to push the insulin out when used as a pen. To do this turn the dial to like 6 or 8 and depress the button. Okay now that you are sure it is snug, back it off to 2u, then insert the syringe needle as normal and push the button in the top of the pen, it may or may not give you the full 2u in the syringe, but it should make sure the insulin gets in the syringe and with very few if any air bubbles.
