http://wxch.nl/zuIWNl link to the tornado that hit across the river from us friday... we actually looked at land in henryville before we built here anyway friday was a rough day for my cats we had a reported funnel cloud in our area but I never say it yes I was out looking :roll: we had hail 2x second time golf ball size which came while I was out looking for the funnel LOL you should have seen me head for the house fast... poor Do Lou gets so stressed locked in a carrier he has shed so bad by the time the all clear came which was almost 45 min later since we had 2 waves one right after the other.. we live in a valley which I know is supposed to help but tornadoes can hit valleys seen it done before, good friend of mine lost her fav horse when their barn collapsed :sad:

+6 172 and a soft paw update they are so far working really well on his rear claws and when he scratches his face or neck no damage is made so very happy I tried these keeps him out of the e collar which does not work all the time anyway for face protection

I am so sorry for the weather there, and the destruction it left for do many. It is a featured item daily on our news here. I am glad that you are all OK.
 
yeah its pretty much all thats on the news here but its pretty bad for so many...


anyway on to the Do Man he has been doing this dropping thing now for several days even with me reducing him and since I am a Bean that does not do low numbers at all since he just does not do well below 75 I so try to keep him from diving but lately he has been doing a lot of it on storm day he dropped 3 different times anyway

+8 139 he was fed on all numbers but last with karo each time since this is what I use for him baby food /karo mix

Lisa, I'm just glad you and your family are okay, and I'm sorry for your friend's horse.
 
Lisa, we are glad that you and your family and all the kitties are OK. That must have been terrifying. So sorry to hear about your friend's horse. Do Lou is amazing; he didn't let the tornado raise his bgs. Do you put all of the kitties in their carriers when you have alerts?

Hi Ella and yes I have a carriers well really they are soft crates big enough for a LB if need be and yes one for every cat and do I move them every time we have a warning no... I do not since where we live storms seem to skip the valley BUT I am always ready to move them at a seconds notice Do Lou and Lily the drooler are the last ones down since it stresses them the most.. my carriers sit in readiness year round which is kinda a pain since I move them every time I vacuum but still I prefer to keep them like that READY :smile:
