After starting off the new year with a failed reduction, then a roller coaster of an entire month unregulated, Chip finally seems to be settling into his *bigger* new dose.

As it turned out, I stuck with the strategy I suspected was working with N. I left the Levemir dose alone. At this point it seems to have paid off. We'll see it this helps with reductions *should* he ever earn another. The plan is to shoot a drop of N when he first rises over 250 and repeating every 6 hours until he remains blue or below.Libby and Lucy said:...You might be better off experimenting with dropping the N, or using it maybe just for the first cycle of a bounce, and going back to increasing the Lev dose more often instead of relying on N. It does look like it's working to bring down individual numbers, but it doesn't look like it's improving things overall. Just my opinion, take it if you want. ;-)
