Good morning!

Yesterday's Condo

Looks like Zoey has really bounced this morning! Red is a new colour for him! I checked his ketones this morning and there is no trace; I will check again later today if he allows it. Hopefully he starts coming down soon!I'll get a +2 to see where he's at in a bit.

Hope everyone has a lovely day and you enjoy some family time this Easter Sunday, if that's on the agenda! Healing vines to those in need!

Good morning Emily. ouch, sorry about that bounce. Come on down Zoey, there's nothing up there for you, sweet one! If Zoey gives you a number that seems out of norm for him, you could test again. just to make sure it wasn't the strip.

Thanks Mary and Ollie! Looks like he's starting to come back down! Next time I think I will retest! It might have been accurate this morning since he's still pretty high now, but it's good to know that retesting is a good idea if things are wonky!

Still coming down! Looks like Zoey is trying on lots of colours today!

I think I'm going to start making my own cat food, so I had the boys try some warmed chicken (cooked lightly on the edges) to see what they thought. Well to my surprise Zoey was the first to gobble it up! Gryffin took a minute, but eventually picked out all the rawest pieces and left the lightly cooked ones. Zukey was having none of it though :( I cooked it for him and he tried a bit, but not much. Maybe he will like a thigh better than a breast? Dr. Lisa says its more palatable due to the fat. I'm still happy with the results! I was reading about urinary issues and cats and it looks like Gryffin shouldn't get much phosphorus, plus with Zoey's skin I have to watch what he eats too... making my own might be better for everyone in the long run! Well, except more work for me, and maybe pricier, but its worth it if it makes the boys healthier!

Here's hoping the chicken doesn't make a reappearance on the carpet in the next little bit lol.

Nice slide, Zoey! I'm glad he's finding some lower floors. :-D Nice that he would eat the raw. Maybe Zukey will come around. You can try mixing raw with his regular food, just a little bit at first, then more and more.

I hope everyone had a great Easter/Sunday! I know I'm stuff from my mom's ham supper!! I can't even move! Zoe has been all over today! I wonder what colours tonight will bring! Hopefully he will get tired of bouncing soon! I think he has decided he's an Easter bunny and is bouncing all over!

Gryffin doesn't seem to be feeling so hot tonight; I'm worried all this stress with Zoe will aggravate his FIC... Guess I'll be monitoring him tonight too! Paws crossed he's not blocking... oh dear... :sad:

That's nice that Zoey came down from that 270. :-D How about a nice, calm cycle tonight with some blues, Zoey? Cats definitely pick up on stress. On New Year's Eve 2011, Zener told me "more petting, less worry". So that was my New Year's Resolution. :-D :-D Maybe do some deep breathing, through your nose, when you are starting to feel anxious. And of course lots of petting and telling your guys how handsome they are. :-D

Thanks Liz!! I will definitely try that!!! That could be all they need. Plus, they really are terribly handsome and don't get told that often enough :razz: Zoey's still on the trampoline and bouncing tonight. Back in the pink again tonight!
