Skooter's Green PMPS start Condo 3/30

Well, Skooter is looking in fine shape this morning. We had our first green (ok it was 99, but technically still green) preshot in the longest time last night and he basically remained steady from at least +7.5 on, to give me one of his lower AMPS numbers in a great while.

I should be able to come home to check on him today during lunch (no meetings -- at least so far), so I should be able to schedule myself a meeting for the time I want to swing home to check on my lil buddy.....and then tonight the worrywart in me comes out as we prepare for his very first dental ever....I am not sure I will remember to post tomorrow morning, so I just want to give a shout out to Eddie of @Jen&Eddie who will be Dental Day buddies with Skooter tomorrow.....Look forward to hearing how Eddie did with his!!!

Off to a lil btb time for this momma before getting up to go to TBP.....

Have a great day everyone!

My experience was that Mikey did great, but I almost didn't survive. Expect that will be about the same for the two of you!

Its hard to let our kitty's be in someone else's hands for the day even if we trust them. My Scooter responded so well to the dental that he went low and the otj so it maybe very helpful.

I love green AMPS it makes me feel like I am good to leave Jack for the day. :)

He is really doing well surfin these numbers since last night (totally antijinx)!!!!

I am curious to see what he gives me tonight.....

So I am pretty sure I have worked myself so badly into a tizzy that I have made myself sick. I really didn't think I would get this nervous/worked up about his dental.

Last night I called the clinic to see what kind of anesthesia they were going to use, as I remember someone saying there is one that is better for cats. Long story short she said she didn't feel comfortable giving me the information as she thought I was just going to "google" the drugs, so I said forget it, I am just trying to be an informed and responsible pet owner and hung up. Well apparently they only have one diabetic cat coming in for a dental tomorrow as I got a call from a different tech today. lol

We had a nice talk and she said that the vet who is gonna be doing the dental is actually going to come in early tomorrow so I can meet her. I think I had mentioned in a previous call that I was a little nervous leaving and having him have a procedure done by someone I hadn't met. So I suppose I shouldn't have gotten so worked up, but I just am used to having to advocate and make sure he is getting everything he needs, but she should have handled it differently as well. So I think I will run out and bring some donuts or bagels or something with me tomorrow as a peace offering. This is the only "bad" experience I have ever had with them, and it wasn't all that awful.

So here I sit, stressed to the high heavens.......they were pretty adamant about no food after 8 as I think he is going to be one of the first ones they do tomorrow, so this could be a long night for both of us lolololol

Thank you all for the well wishes....now let's see if the bean is able to survive this lol

Piling on more dental vines. Sending you calming vines Molly.:bighug:

I said something in an earlier Skooter condo about type of anesthesia drug. It's not so much that it's better for a cat, as one of the ones that is more recently being used in the US does not lower BG's. Good to know when figuring out a dose for the evening after dental.

I know you are asleep and dreaming of OTJ, but I just wanted to add my dental vines to the others for our dear Skooterbear. I know how stressed you are and how hard the day will be for you tomorrow, but remember that you have the full force of L&LL vines and prayers behind you and Skooter, so how could it help but go well??? :bighug::bighug::bighug:
