Happy Easter!!!! (and happy last day of my spring break...it's not happy, but I didn't know what else to say!)
Shasta was less than snuggly last night. In fact, she didn't even venture into my room until I woke up in the middle of the night, walked out into the living room, pulled her from her carrier (I picked her up...didn't actually pull!), and brought her into my room to eat the rest of her dinner. Then I went back to bed, she ate and left. :sad: After poke, shoot and feed, I went btb...she did not follow. :sad: When my alarm went off to get up for her +2.5/+3 poke, she finally joined me for about 5 minutes of snuggles. :YMSIGH: :smile:
She was relatively affectionate after our snuggles. Her appy is ok. Preening is good; got some purrs; haven't played yet; pee & a big poo!
OT: on my way back home from Wal-mart this morning, I witnessed a RAT trying to cross a busy 6 lane road!!!! I laughed so hard!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: He only made it across 3 lanes before turning around and traveling length-wise because of all the oncoming traffic. I know I shouldn't laugh...all God's creatures and everything...and had it been a cat, I would have been mortified....but it was a RAT and rat's piss me off (especially when they're in my walls.)
I have so many little projects that I wanted to get done this spring break, that I didn't because of my back...I'm tempted on trying to do a few little ones with the help of my back brace. We'll see. Hope everyone is finding lots of Easter eggs and enjoying some nice weather and kitty snuggles!
