Happy Easter!

Rusty was up with the ducks, dashing downstairs to see if he could catch the Easter Bunny. He had a good night sleeping with his beans. This morning we had a good test, shot, breakfast (all of 1st sitting and most of 2nd sitting eaten), a schmooze, a "lung treat", and a nap on the couch while his mamabean read her book (he's still there). We have some sunshine this morning, but rain and warm weather is on the way for later. Rusty will enjoy going outside before the rain. Yesterday Edward shoveled out an icy puddle and Rusty walked out further into the yard, but the puddle filled in and he didn't want to get his feet wet. He stood there and meowed, so Edward had to carry him over it!!! Rusty has a nice AMPS--almost at the lagoon!

We are having Easter dinner with some friends and I am bringing an Alsatian warm potato salad.

p.s. Today was the first day it was light in the morning when we got up. The year has "turned"! Yesterday there was a flock of migrating Canada Geese standing around on the partially frozen lake. (The chair is still standing: I'm not going to win!!)

Hi Ella. Real nice start for Rusty. Glad he was able to get outside for some fresh air. As often as he spends surfing I would have thought that he would of surfed across the puddle :lol:

I don't blame you for not wanting to get your paddy paws wet, Rusty! But, uh, won't you get them wet in the lagoon? Oh, that's warm water so it's ok. I see. :lol: :lol: It's nice to have a little light in the morning. Have a great day! I'm off for a bike ride. :-D

What a great start for Rusty! That amps sure looks green to me. :cool:

Too funny on Rusty and that puddle. :lol: :lol: I can so see him sitting there, calling for help. It is nice though that the weather is improving for all of us and that our kitties can get out some.

Enjoy your Easter holiday today. it sounds nice. time with friends is always good. :-D

HI Ella - warm smiles on Rusty reading with you on the couch - love that. Leo will only do that if I am laying in bed, then he "falls over" on to me :-D Rats about the chair! :lol: Have a great Easter dinner with friends.

Thanks everyone for your Easter greetings. We had a lovely day and evening with our friends. And the LagoonMeister even made a brief trip to supervise the lagoon today. :mrgreen:
