Good Morning LL!! (Elsa - lots (!!) please! This bean is so sleepy...), and Happy Cheery Cherry Monday
LL! It's is I, Elsa, KBP, kitteh barista pilot!, president and CEO of Coffee Cat! Life is GOOD! GUESS WHAT! Today is CHEERY CHERRY MONDAY!! Lola and Bug, aka PawPrints Pizza, are making their cheery cherry pizza pies. It is after all Monday, and that is now tradition! Anybody up for a cherry pizza? so. well. anyways. Coffee time! For today, I proudly offer Elsa's special 10 hour energy coffee, and Double shot espressos, with beans from deep within the mountain slopes of Africa, AND.... for all my Mocha fans: a VENTI Quad cherry infused white mocha/mocha blend with white chocolate chips melted within, topped with a cherry whip garnished with candied cherry sprinkles and white chocolate curls. SWEET! OH! No worries, a dollop of cheery cherry and chocolate swirl ice cream, on top of a dollop of fudge, topped with crystallized cheery cherries and chocolate drizzle.... Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh....... mega good! We gots CHEERY CHERRY CHEESECAKE too! as well as cheery cherry frappes! I love cheery cherry Mondays.

I hope everyone had a great weekend, and a good Sunday yesterday. It was a great day for me yesterday. The weekend was rather laid back, which was good I think. Sunday was the busier of the two, got alot done and was able to play too! My son came over for breffis yesterday- YAY! It is always nice to have the visit. Lola performed for him too. :roll: Bug was super affectionate. Elsa came to visit an old friend. She spent alot of time in his room when he was still living her at home. She still remembers. ;-) Here's what I wrote about the day in last night's post: "Hi everyone. here's to great weekend! I hope yours has been just that. It has been such a mixed bag again here today. Clouds to mist to wind to sun breaks to everything. About 2 the sun really broke though, which was nice. If this holds we should have a great sunset. :lol: I said that last night too, then the rains hit. :roll: I went for a short walk this morning before Anthony came for breffis, that was nice. I went on a flower hunt. There sure is alot in bloom right now, kinda cool. The walk was a short one, as I knew I needed to be back for breffis, and I truly hoped to hike later in the day when those forecasters assured us that it would be sunny. :shock: And.... drum roll! It was! We got that yellow thing in the sky about 2PM or so. With the sun break this afternoon I just couldn't sit in the house, so stopped the cleaning and went to send some time out on the meadowdale trail here. That was nice, sunny and warm. I like that park when it is sunny, it just comes alive. Creek there was very full, running fast. What a great afternoon. Breakfast was great too - it was nice to be able to spend sometime with the kid, without him having to rush off to work. YAY! Anthony brought over the plans he has for a kitchen remodel of his place. WOW, that was impressive, and very nice, Not overly done, but basic and simple, but with much more room and functionality. He's looking at ways to cut the expense some, but still have what he would like. No plans to start this right away, just getting the feel for it, and what he wants."

Normalcy in MusketeerVille! What to say about the kitties.... They have been good kitties, and even Lola! Well sorta on Lola... Lola will always be Lola. With the weather being so sunny yesterday afternoon ALL the kitties wanted out. it was a battle to get in and out with Lola. She was practicing her escape skills. I did prevail however. So she had to spend most of the day running from window to window . It seems the birds were out and about, and she so wanted one to play with. :roll: Bug was content just to look, Elsa did get a few trips out, she was so happy to have the sun on her back. It was a good day for the kitters. Lola had to be the entertainment committee when my son was here. She was playing with his shoes, rolling with them, sticking her head in them, dragging them by the laces, you name it, she did it. I so wish I had video.... but alas, the camera was in the charger! Bug really liked Anthony too. He came to eat breffis with him, and let Anthony pet him, ALOT. That was kinda cool. Elsa was just glad he was there, and purred and purred and purred. Normalcy in MusketeerVille!

Have a great day everyone! I'm not too sure what will be here today. One of those days when I shall see what comes to be. If the weather clears some I may go do some local hiking. Our sunny skies from yesterday seem to have left us. Bummer! And... I still need to clean my house, which I never did do over the weekend, yet again. :roll:

Sounds like a very nice day yesterday, and the kitties really seemed to enjoy having Anthony there for breffis....how sweet of all of them! My civvie Zen is the same way about shoes...we can't wear anything with laces in the house (or leave them laying around) or he's all over them. Silly cats. I'm glad you got a good sunny hike in during the afternoon - the pictures are fabulous as always!

Morning Amy Yupp! Those kitties sure did enjoy having company yesterday morning. They were all over Anthony. The shoe thing with Lola was so funny... normally she leaves ours alone, unless she can get at those laces, but not his! Maybe she could sell his kitties on them. I was glad to see the sun yesterday day - so so welcome! THX on the pics. It was a nice afternoon there.

Hi Michelle,
How neat to see your beautiful pictures of the early-spring bloom. In another month or so we'll have some of that here, but until then we have your pics! It's great that you had some sunny intervals to get out in yesterday.
Breakfast with Anthony sounded like a great time was had by all, especially the kitties. It's clear that he has the touch. What are you going to do with Lola when the warmer weather arrives and she wants to go out?? :lol:
Hiking plans for today? Have a wonderful day, maybe with some sunshine.

Love the spring pictures. It really is nice to see color after a dreary season. Sounds like a great weekend there. So sweet with Elsa and Anthony. They never forget. Nice on the kitchen remodel. Good for him! I would really love to do that but the budget says something else. :lol: Sweet on all the kitties with Anthony. He needs to come around more often. :lol:

Morning Ella I so hope that you will have those flowers soon. it is unreal how cold, and for how long, it is there. BRRRR! I will have to take more for you. I am off to Yakima this morning, hopefully to find some of their unique spring flowers there. Yes on breffis. it was fun, and the kitties enjoyed seeing him. That is true - he, and my other son, really do have the touch with them. They all like him. I really don't know with Lola, and the wanting to go out. I may just have to let her go and try. Hopefully teach her to stay in the yard. She will be two by then, maybe the craziness run run run thing will have lessened some by then. Maybe?

Morning Melissa THX on the pics! finally some spring flowers here. I so agree on Elsa and Anthony. She dies remember, made sure to spend some time with him, and he with her. He does have a way with them all. All kitties just love him. I so know on that budget, it is a concern for him too, so he is trying to decide how to make it all work, as his kitchen is very antiquated, and could really use it.



OFF I GO! over the mountains and into Eastern Washington. Yakima area for some warmer temps, and hopefully some sunshine.

Awww, it's too sweet that the kitties were all loving your son . Some of those flower pictures are amazing. It makes me want spring even worse! Hi everyone! I hope your day has been a good one. I LOVED mine! we did really well here. Sunny skies for the time I have been home. I don't think it made it much over 55, but no matter, the sun is out ans the skies are blue. Maybe it will stay that way for tonight. I did make it out for that hike to Cowiche Canyon near Yakima, took a chance on the drivability, i.e. no snow no ice, of the mountain pass, and took off early this morning. Pass was exceptional today. I sure did enjoy that drive over. Things topside were bare and dry, under sunny blue skies. GORGEOUS!! Once one hit Easton, on the east side of the pass, though the fog was there big time, That cleared up at Indian John Hill, and was fairly nice the rest of the way. It could have been sunnier in Yakima, but that too was no big deal. Kind of a 50/50 deal, no rains, so I was happy. The canyon hike at Cowiche was nice. It felt really good to be back over there again. Spring has not yet truly arrived there, but it will be soon. ALot is budding. River there was really flowing, great sounds. Wildflowers should be in full bloom in a few weeks, I will have to go back, maybe to Snow Ranch next time. There were a few out today, but one had to go to the Uplands section to find them. Anyways. nice time! I stopped in at a Starbucks on Summitville and got he biggest caffeinated thing I could get for the drive home. LOL. Tasty! oh - times like these that I love my car: 6 hours drive time, 366 miles all on one tank of gas, with some to spare. awesome!

Hi Devon It was a good one: productive yet laid back too. THX on the pics. Winter us lingering in so many places that spring flowers will be late for so many. THX on the trip today - I did get great weather - loved the drive. That was as nice as the hike was. :razz: :razz:

Hi Rachel I thought so too - they all did, even Lola, in between her antics. ;-) THX on the pics - I was lucky to find so many flowers in bloom. ALot is budding here now so there should be even more soon. I so hope you guys, all of LL, gets their spring soon. HAHA on that cleaning... it was pushes aside here yesterday and again today. aiyee.... guess I had better do it for sure tomorrow. I agree though: always more interesting and fun tings to do!

Hi Carla THX, me too. It was fun,. I enjoy the time pent with him, I think he does too. Lola was being Lola - she so LOVES an audience. and their shoes. :lol: THX on today - it was really fun, I had a great time.
