Yesterday's Condo

After a very flat night last night, the bean overslept! :oops: :oops: :oops: Morning bidness now done. Herbie is patrolling the windows making sure all is well in the neighborhood. Willie has been pouting since last night after he had a temper tantrum over the 10pm curfew I had imposed. My allergies have me moving pretty slowly this morning, and he was sure to let me know that my morning pace (and the oversleeping) were NOT appreciated. Egads!

Working from home today at least, so that should help. Picking up a new pen tonight or tomorrow morning, so we'll have new juice to get him back on track.

We had a jailbreak!! Willie and I are working out on the patio this morning, which had Herbie QUITE upset. I had opened the heavy door to the sunroom, had the screen up on the screen door, and had set up a box for her to perch on to join us. She would cry, jump on the box, glare at Willie, glare at me, then cry some more. Went to get a cord to plug in my phone and after giving me a once over, she slipped out through the garage door I'd left open. She was greeting Willie on the patio and sniffing around when I returned, and convinced she was in trouble, she bolted into the garage (thank goodness). I had closed the door to the kitchen, so she panicked and ran and hid. After some gentle discussion, she finally came over and hopped through the pet door I was holding open for her. Such excitement! Willie, on the other hand, is nonplussed. Will post video once it uploads!

Hi guys .. sorry to hear you overslept this morning and you're now on willies naughty list :lol: I hope the new pen brings lots of greens for willie, and hopefully there are no more jailbreaks .. unless you're right there of course! Have a great weekend guys!

Oh that's so funny with Herbie :lol: and the short outing and the guilt look with running back into the garage! What a little smartie. Have a nice Friday. Willie's looking nice and blue this morning.

We call that the "satisfied hunting pose". :lol: :lol: He is definitely watching over his domain. The cat's out of the bag with Herbie, now that she has her taste of the outdoors. Can you put her on a leash? That's what we did with Tillie for many years. Now she just stays in the fenced yard.

The bird calls in the video really got Mookie's attention, and he came over to watch it with me. I love it when kitties lift their little faces up to smell the air. Thanks for posting. :-D
