Well, a good start to the gum day indeed. Chew away on this 'sperment for the next 2 days!! I hope you get some sleep - cuz now you can't blame the cat for being up late testing....

Wonderful start!!

(Pssst....Put Smokey's name in the subject line. Some of the kitties around here will think that's their number!)

Re: 3/30 Smokey Gum Day #1: AMBG 94

One confused baby. She kept following me around and then going to her shot spot and looking at me like I forgot something.

Smokey and I had a discussion last night when we really did not want to cooperate for the check when mommy got home. Mommy explained that as long as we stay under 100, only 2 pokes a day and then soon almost pokes at all. She said she'd do anything to quit the pokes so she is going to try really really hard to stay green.

Re: 3/30 Smokey Gum Day #1: AMBG 94, PMBG 103 Question?

So my understanding is that if we see a higher number we retest after a bit to see if they bring themselves down. What numbers do we retest? I figured any blue, hubby says close enough to green, its a good number no need to retest.

I'd like to just go crawl in bed and snuggle my purry cat and go to sleep.

Oh yeah, 103 is close enough to green. You don't have to re-test. Go snuggle the kitty. :-D

Thanks CD, I am so tired. First thing I need to do is figure out the timed feeder I picked up on the way home. Then me and my fuzzy grey kitty are hitting the pillow.

I think the idea is that if you get a number outside of the normal range (i.e., over 120), feed some LC and test 2 - 3 of hours later. The idea is to see if Smokey's pancreas will kick in endogenous insulin and bring those numbers back down.
