Good Morning, Everyone,

We all had a good night, Rusty singing in his sleep (he must have liked the opera). He finished all his nighttime food and was ready for breakfast (most of which has been consumed: 1st sitting and about half of the 2nd sitting). He had a good test, good shot, good schmooze with his mamabean (during our schmoozes I tell him what a great kitty he is and how proud I am of him), his delicious "lung treat", more of his breakfast, and a nap in his little bed by the radiator.

The sun is shining!!! We are about to go to the landfill, since our recycling boxes are overflowing. It looks like it will be a lot warmer today and Rusty will really enjoy that.

Wishing you all a fine day and a lovely Easter weekend. We celebrate Easter by listening to Bach: yesterday we played several recordings of the B-Minor Mass and today will listen to the St. Matthew Passion.

Sending tons of healing vines to Noni today, and to all kitties and beans not feeling well,

Rusty singing in this sleep! I laughed out loud for that one! What a funny thing. All I get out of Molly are gently little lady-like snores. :-)

Yay on the sun ... have a good day doing your running around and warm sun for Rusty.

I get snores from my kitty too...they don't sound very ladylike though :lol: Maybe she is trying to sing like Rusty and is tone deaf ;-) I wonder if there is a cat on earth that doesn't like sunbeam sleeping? I hope Rusty has a nice time with the warmer weather and sun and that you have a good day getting your recycling to the landfill, it always feels great to clean out the house :-D

Morning Ella Is Rusty a tenor or baritone? Have a good day whatever develops after the visit to the landfill. enjoy the warm. How's the chair? falling through the ice yet? hugs and scritches from us.

Hi Ella. Wonder if Rusty was getting prepared to chime in with Bach tomorrow by practicing in his sleep. Hope he takes a trip to the Lagoon today.

Hi again,
Rusty is a treble, but he has quite a good range and he actually does sing pitches--he even sometimes sings a major scale and all the notes are correct.

Rusty went outside before lunch and encountered the Shadow (his adversary). I took a picture and will try to post it later.

Nicely done in the blues Rusty, but back to the Lagoon! Was the pix a prelude to a hiss fest or are they getting along better? i keep hoping to get Emma and tess into the same building!

BTW love finally having a printer where I don't have to pack up the laptop to print something. It's not only wireless, but has auto two-sided printing, much cheaper toner cartridge than the HP and was less than $100!

Nice blues for Rusty today, but I hope he gets back to the lagoon soon.

Picturing Rusty singing away made me smile! :-D Zoey likes to wander around and sing sometimes, he's been doing it a couple times a day lately! Must be a sign they are feeling good! I hope Rusty and Shadow get nicely acquainted, perhaps a duet is in the future? :lol: Hope Rusty makes his way back to the Lagoon soon!

Those low blues are nice, Rusty, but it won't cut it with your bean for very long. Maybe back to the lagoon? Great WCR on Rusty. He is such a sweet boy. :-D :-D He actually seems pretty tolerant of Shadow. Hopefully the sun is working on the ice...

Hmm, Leo has a black nemesis outside too. Hmmm, maybe we'll call him Shadow!

I ride Western and I like trail riding too. Do you ride?

A nice even blue day for Rusty. Maybe the lagoon tonight? It is good to see him in more Rusty like numbers.

I love the photo. It is nice to see them both together. I too wonder if they are getting along better.

Enjoy your holiday - it does sound very nice.

Love, love, love Bach! Hope you had a lovely time last night watching your opera with your pizza... sounds like Rusty enjoyed it! ;-) Cute pic of Rusty and Shadow. Looks like Rusty tolerates him pretty well for an adversary! We have a couple of ferals in our neighborhood that Kiz keeps a close watch on from the upstairs window. Sometimes we put out food for them and leave the screen open so Kiz can say "hi." He is quite tolerant of "Fluffy" the beautiful ragdoll girl, but he LOATHES "Boots," the all black male with white feet :lol: If Boots ever comes by, Kiz gets all huffy and hissy. :lol: Must be a guy thing ;)

Shadow lives across the street, but spends most of his time outside (and a lot of it in our yard). He is about 3 years old and Rusty cannot abide him. They "meet and greet", touch noses, and then Rusty hisses or swats at Shadow and Shadow flits away. He is very athletic. I think that he wanted to be Rusty's friend at one point, when he was an adolescent, but Rusty would have none of it. The picture was taken after Rusty "ran" Shadow off.
