He nay have just got a fur shot, I felt the dampness on his fur. I'll know in a few hrs.

Yup, sometimes I'm just not coherent enough to be shooting. Of course, I only know this after the fact.

Yes.

Using R is a double edged sword - the glucose usually drops ... like a rock. Then you may have to steer the numbers if the amount of drop starts to go below safe numbers.

Ever white water rafted? Like trying to steer one of those things and the crew isn't synchronized - paddle like crazy and pray you stay afloat.

Re: 3/30 Lucian PMPS R+3/313 +3.5/138

I've seen a number of the Lantus/Levemir users using R to bring down bounces, but it seems like such a dice roll. It is interesting to see how people use it as a tool, though - it breaks my brain a little bit how one goes about shooting at the right time to avoid overlapping nadirs, etc. Not something that I think I could handle - not that Eddie doesn't get plenty of movement from his ProZinc.

Re: 3/30 Lucian PMPS R+3/313 +3.5/138

'Normally' he is at nadir by +2 and on his way back up by +3 after R. But 'normal' is not always constant. If he was coming up when I shot, he shouldn't have dropped as fast as he did.

Unfortunately, I have come to believe that Lucian doesn't do anything the same way very often. I have to take that chance and just have to watch him tonight. He gets watched a lot. There are few cats that get tested more than he does, even when he's doing fine.
