Racci had a high bg day yesterday so I'm hoping today is going to be better based on this amps. She has a bit of loose stool this morning so no miralax. I'm assuming it's from the antibiotic. Other than that her appetite is great and she's bright eyed and bushy tailed. Her infection is looking better but then again, her fur has grown back in so it's not as easy to see. I might have to take her for another shave. Actually she could use a haircut anyway for the spring summer. I usually get her a lion cut every spring. It looks so cute and gets rid of all matts and it grows back beautifully. Her belly fur is so long now that it's dragging on the floor and always dirty no matter how many times I clean it. :roll:

I hope everyone has a good day and that BigMac continues to recover well without pulling anything else out!

Hi guys .. I hope this is a good day for you guys! I think lion cuts on kitties is so cute .. my SIL has a kitty, they do lion cuts on him in the summer too .. you see this huuuuuuuge cat walking around the house one day, the next day it looks like a teeny tiny kitten! :lol: Have a great weekend!

Hi Devon!

I think it's going to be a green day for Racci. +3.5 and already 72! She surprised me. Hopefully her lunch will keep her from going too low by +6. Don't you just love those lion cuts? I think they're so cute. Racci's is usually a modified version since I don't let them anesthesize her for it so they do as much as they can and I trim a little here and there. :lol: I'm hoping it will look cuter than usual this year since she's lost a little weight and the belly isn't as big. :mrgreen:

I will post a pic of her when I get it done, Randa. I want to wait just until I'm sure the weather is warm to stay. It was cool last night and again today so I don't want to let her get sick. They're calling for cool rainy weather tomorrow too so I may wait another couple of weeks and try to do a stomach trim in thee meantime if she lets me. We get brutal summers here - 90's every day so I don't want to have to do it twice. I love the heat & we're in the woods so there's usually a breeze and shade, but if I had that much hair I wouldn't. :lol:

She's green but looks like she's back on her way to blue Roni. How do you like that dive? Wow! I imagine it must feel weird to have your blood sugar dive like that so fast, huh? She's full of surprises lately.

You all have a great weekend too. I hope you have some of this beautiful weather.
I'm going to get my grandson's easter presents together tomorrow. I've had them sitting in bags on my dresser for about 2 weeks now.

She's so gorgeous! What a nice cycle this morning but a little bounce now...come back down Racci.

Melanie you asked in our condo the other day why Gracie nadirs so late. She is on levemir. Lev cats usually onset about +4 and nadir +8 to +12. But Graice...she likes to do it her way. She onsets about +7 and nadirs at about +16 from the previous shot. She gets really nice duration and overlap typically ...like today :-D

Oh, that photo is perfect! :lol: I never saw a cat with skin more suited to that cut either. I don't get Racci quite that short and her mane is much bigger but that is a perfect cut & a perfect photo. I love it.

I don't know what's with Racci and her bg today. She's nosediving down then flying up. I guess I'll stay up a while and see what she does before I go to bed. As high as she is I probably don't have to worry but the way she's zooming around, who knows?
