Good Morning Everyone,

A yellow at AMPS! I hope that Stu won't have steep drops today like he did yesterday. I will be out for most of the middle of the day. I'll be able to get a +2.25 and after that not until about a +8. My husband will be home and will be watching Stu, but he is legally blind and cannot give tests. Dilemma: should I go x-country skiing with my friends, or should I stay home and watch my cat?! I know, I know: why should an old woman have a life?!!! CAT RULES! In any event, Stu is his usual irrepressible self this morning: good breakfast, good litterbox, active play, pounding on doors (one of his "things"). See you all later!

I guess I didn't have to worry! Stu decided to climb today, rather than drop. My husband said that he didn't eat much of his breakfast this morning, but that they went outside and Stu nibbled at old weeds for a half hour. The food he put out for lunch was mostly eaten, so I hope all will be OK. I'll get another test in at +10.

That's amazing that you got out to do some skiing.
I know how hard it is to chose between "life" and the cats.
We have not gone downhill skiing once this winter with the kids (and we are regular skiiers)
because I just have not been able to wrap my head around getting back in time for Ma'x shots and leaving him home alone for a long ski day.

Oh well, I'm glad you went out and Stu ahd his own little outing.
BTW it is very possible that Stu did drop between his +2 & +8 Ella.
Those times in between are when the insulin is usually the most active. For some kiities as you get later in the cycle the insulin starts to wear off.

Skiing? You are such pioneers!! I love it!! i never did it, but it looks like fun! I couldnt because Klutzes arent allowed to ski, so...and I'm an old klutz too :lol: :lol: But we need to have our lives as well !!
Sure it's possible for Stu to have dropped to blue, but not worry, there's always tomorrow..
