I answered you in health but now that I'm listening again to the cough, it sounds more like bronchitis than asthma to me. Has he had a cold or any other symptoms? Red, runny eyes or nose, diarrhea, etc? Asthma usually is a continuous sound that doesn't want to stop and they feel like they can't breathe because of it. What he has is more of a barking cough. I gave you a link in the health thread that sounds more like Racci's asthma. Maybe I'll go get it and paste it here.

Feline asthma is synonymous with feline bronchitis.
"Feline asthma is a common name for feline bronchitis. There are many different underlying diseases and contributing conditions that can cause the symptoms of bronchitis in cats." Dr. Margaret Muns, DVM Feline Asthma

Just to clarify --- that cat in the video is not Ruben -- it's just a video you found that is similar to what you saw him do? You watched the video of Kismet... did you notice how frequent the coughs were? About 1/2 - 1 second intervals between coughs. Some asthma attacks are more severe than others. Sometimes, Kismet has minor attacks with longer intervals like the cat in the above video; other times, his coughs are continuous, one after another in rapid succession. The severity of the attacks vary in cough intervals and duration. 3-5 minutes is pretty typical, but they can be shorter or longer.

the coughs were about a few close then swallows the coughs then swallows, all while low extending his neck even a head roll
My little on has been doing almost the same thing for years now, about 1 a month...again thought it was chronic respitory infection from being adopted from the pound, she may have asthma too, the thing with her is I can NOT bring her to the vet, she does not travel well at all, so violent in the carrier she makes herself bleeds and gets violent at the office. she's a sweetie pie at home, but taking her is not an option....
Focusing on ruben for now
thank you for the eyes and concern

Seems absolutly fine, no coughing
His coats looks super shiney, can't tell if its greasy, minor shelfed, but not sure if its me being crazy or maybe its all the water and new food, can't tell what the coat changes mean.
I really am a nut job so have a hard time trusting my jusdgement about this, gonna let the vet tell me.
thanks for checking on us, we need it.
