Good Caturday LL!
Morgaine started the day with a nice 160 PS, down from the last few days. She was very vocal all morning while I tried to sleep and then was head butting me and rubbing up against my leg as I prepared her meal. Another pee and poo in the box and on the pee pad. Last evening she did not use the box and I am afraid that the rug under the rubber mat has gotten wet. what a nasty little mess that is. I am going to have my cleaning gals pull up the mat and thoroughly clean the rug and the mat but this is a problem I am going to have to live with or find another solution for until Morgaine stops peeing on the pee pads. They are not foolproof, unfortunately. I have doubled up on them so maybe that will help once I get this cleaned with my steam cleaner.
I listened to the AC recording last night and Morgaine came out and sat there listening with me. It was as if she re-experienced it. Very interesting how she paid attention and actually sat there for the entire time. The gabapentin is given 2xdaily and it knocks her out at first. My understanding is that this effect wears off in a few days. She is tolerating it well except her stools are looser but i am still giving her pumpkin for that. She really likes the pumpkin and it may be worth a slight elevation in BG for her to eat her food with the meds in it. I open the capsule of gabapentin and mix it in her food.
That's my report for today. We are doing okay and hope all other beans and fur babies are doing well. Sending out healing vines to all in need.
