3/3 Cape AMPS 478-512

Hi.

Cape had a really good day yesterday with at least 5 hours in the 50-100 range.

As the title says, this morning she was 478 and since the ear was still bleeding I tested with another strip and got 512.

She was given her normal .5 dose of Lantus and her low carb Quick and Quirky Chicken and Turkey food.

I plan on testing her at +2 and then going from there. I just need to know if there's anything else I can do.

At +2 she is 324

Looks like Cape is bouncing today after than lovely run of greens yesterday. I think you can probably hold off on testing for the rest of this cycle. Bounces can take up to 6 cycles to resolve, but the good news is this dose is getting her into good nadirs. As for what you can do, just be patient and wait for the numbers to come down.

What a great run in green yesterday.

As Wendy says it looks like Cape is bouncing, so time for a pokey break. Nothing you can do about the bounces just have to ride them out, and keep paws crossed that she lands back in green when she clears.
