I have plans to buy some higher carb food today, and play around with my syringes and see what kind of tiny amounts of insulin I can reliably deliver. For last night and this morning, though, I just depressed the plunger as hard as I could and then let go, and just gave her the amount of insulin that was sucked up into the syringe (I didn't pull back on the plunger at all). She seems to be doing pretty well with it so far! :lol: :lol: :lol: Thanks for the idea MJ!!

We have had some misplaced poops and pees around here lately. :YMSIGH: Yesterday Bailey pooped in the bathtub, which is usually a sign of a UTI in her. We will probably be going to the vetty next week. Then, at five this morning, I got up to use the bathroom and when I came back, my drooler Chloe had peed the bed!!! She sleeps intertwined with me, so I had to wake everyone up and change the sheets. :roll: She has never done anything like this before, so I am chalking it up to chance for now... she was still fast asleep and had no idea what had happened. :lol:

I checked Bailey's SS to see how you noted that dose. :lol: Wow, great suggestion MJ. I have to say that the bathtub is about the best place for a misplaced poop and the bed is the worst for a pee. Hope everyone is ok. Have a good one Melissa.

Anne wants to know if any juice comes out when you squeeze the syringe into the sink (instead of Bailey).

Hope Chloe was just having a dream about peeing in a field or something. Good luck with the new food regime for Bailey, if she does have a UTI that might help explain why she can't quite manage without her insulin yet.

Anne, yes, a verrry small amount of insulin comes out. It's probably more like 1/2 a drop. :? I would need a macro lens to photograph it... but it's there! :lol:
