Yesterday and last night http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=67383
Neko did her usual big drop after first time at new dose last night. She was PMPS 400, +1 373 +3 216 +7 298. And she is back bouncing this morning but at least this time it's not the blacks (yet). March 15th was a much worse drop and bounce. This time I gave her a chicken neck snack at +2 and 1/3 of her dinner at +3 before the test. On the 15th she just had about 1/4 of her dinner at +3, then the HC snack after her low +4. Spreading out the food seems to definitely help.
I probably should have stayed awake and tested after the 216 but she was asleep just a few feet away and is pretty vocal when she feels she is dropping a lot. I did sleep lightly and got my first middle of the night test when I was wide awake worrying. Of course when I tried to find her she was not sleeping in any of the usual sleeping places and I got a bit panicked until I went into the kitchen to get the dried chicken treats, and there she was on the kitchen counter. Bad kitty!
Note to self, next dose increase will be timed so it's not one of those days when I have to get up at 4:45 AM.
Neko seems to be one of those kitties that goes a lot lower at night than during the day. I'm gonna have to get into the habit of afternoon naps. Not enough room on my computer bag to join Neko right now though.
