Thank you so much for your kind words and support last night. It definitely was the worst night Mikan had in her life. Not only the hypo-range, but she was acting so unlike-her. Her numbers started to rise but the physiological effect of hypoglycemia must have lingered on making her feel sick. She was completely anti-social! I figured that she needed to rest without me upsetting her once her numbers were in the safe range, and I just checked on her visually to make sure that she was responsive to sound, not having seizure, not twitching (which I saw during the episode), and not vomiting through the night.

This morning, she is back to sweet herself :) Testing was a breeze and she no longer got mad at being handled.

Phew. I will be more careful in the future when we visit the vet.

Did I tell you that I hate doctor visits of any sort for any spiecies

Hope everyone has a great day!

SO very glad to hear that Mikan is back in her groove today -- and you too, Kit. Smooth sailing to both of you!!! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Thank you Karen!
It was a scary night and I am so happy both of us survived!
Mikan is giving me a lot calmer day today :) and she looks happier. Nothing more distressing than your kitty baby acting like she is not feeling well.

Lack of sleep may catch up with me this afternoon - particularly when you have a super-boring meeting :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
