said it yesterday - will say it again, heartfelt: I would like to thank all of you that have visited Mannie over the past couple of days. Thank you for caring, for your insights, your help, and for just being there. I appreciate all of you. I am sorry I have been unable to return the kindness and visit condos too. It has been crazy busy here.... Thank you for being who you are. You guys are the best!

Yesterday was.... I dunno! We had a little bit of everything... pinks, yellow, but alas, no blues. Maybe today! Yesterday was a good and not so good for MochaMannie. The morning was rough one. He had no appy, very wobbly on his feet, didn't really want to do much of anything. We got through the fuds ok. By late afternoon he seemed to perk up. Appy was good for dinner, though it did take MC fuds to get there, but he ate well. Mobility and muscle strength seemed to be better in the evening. I hope for a good day today, more blues would be so cool! Mannie - here's to you, some very strong feel better, be blue vines. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

A few have asked... yes I do have the labs, and yes, I will get them posted on his labs SS. I just haven't had time yet... :roll:

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D :-D It has become the norm for me to talk with him every morning when we get things ready, and I do ask. I hope he will tell me when tings are not well in MannieLand. For now they are, and we keep on doing what we are. Supportive care, some meds, and a ton of hugs and sritches and pets. Yesyerday afternoon after dinner I took him outside so eh could play and lay and sun himself in the grass. he was one happy kitter! I even got a grumble when I picked him up to come back inside. "NOOOO!" was the lament. Today Mannie, for sure I will take you back outside, today. Promise! Nicholas was sure to give Mannie lots of pets today too. I just love to watch the together. he is so kind and gentle with Mannie. Today appy was good, LB is normal, Ketones tests have been negative. Test was good this morning, as was the shoot. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D yes, it is normal. Mannie said so.

Have a great day everyone! Today is the last day of DGS duty this week. Today will be a swim day for Nicholas. WOO HOO! Back in the pool! Paws crossed on the weather, as I hope we can get some outdoor time too. ..... I hope to visit condos when time permits, it is so tough to do while he is here. I will miss you guys! So sorry Mannie had a bad morning yesterday with mobility. Does it seem like it happens right after he gets up in the mornings? Sending our sweet Mannie lots of healing and feel better vines for today. I hope the sun is out so he can enjoy some sunbeams in the yard this afternoon. Just keep doing what you are and enjoying every day with him and the special times in the yard. He seems to love it. Always so sweet with DGS and Mannie and how gently he is with Mannie. Enjoy your day with DGS. He must be a good swimmer by now. Thanks for the links and will check them out soon.

Yes, let's do the Treehouse and Radiator today, as soon winter will be gone. Lots of good grillin, too. Wonder if Rusty will have any cinnamum cookies. See ya at the curb, Mags

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) THX on Mannie - this morning is a better start for him that yesterday, and for that I am grateful. And yes, the mornings tend to be the worst times for him. We should have sun, so I will make sure he gets out today. :-D THX too on DGS - he and Mannie still remain est buddies. it is a swim day for DGS - he actually can do a form of doggie paddle now. It is very cute to watch - the whole time with a smile on his face.

Hi Michelle, the B.F.F. (Best Feline Friends) flavor that Maggie tried and loves is "Tuna & Chicken Chuckles". There is another one with Chicken that Amy feeds Trixie. Yeah, I think that's why mags liked it, too, is it's so smelly! :lol:

Wow Mannie that is quite the drop. Keep it safe today. And how fun to get DGS hugs and scritches. Lovings are the best. And oooo the promise of sun bathing. That should help out those muscles.

Michelle - if you can't find the BFF in your area, I'd be more than happy to send some cans for you to try. Just let me know! I have a feeling it is a "Ma and Pop" shop kind of fuds...I've never seen it in the big chains.

Hey Mannie,

So my bean is still unhappy, she was glad to see the horses go but was quite surprised to find a dolphin in the bathtub!

I tried to tell her that while we were on the beach, we went fishing and this was just a really big fishie, but she doesn't believe it. So, now what am I going to do with the dolphin. He has to go back. I have an idea, do you think the dolphin will like the Falls? Let's take my jet and fly him down there, then we can hang out at my place, enjoy the pool and warm weather and maybe take a ride on the yacht.

I've got the wagon loaded with fishies for the dolphin to snack on and burgers and dogs to grill!n

Ooh and tell Mags to bring her cimmamum cookies, we can eat those later with yummy whipped cream.

Hi guys,

It looks like the Blue Mannie Group will be rockin' on the radiators this afternoon. They can compete with the opera, "Eugene Onegin", whih we are going to screen with some friends, who just got the DVD. Who knows, the kitties might like it!

Mannie, thank you for the ~O) ~O) . So delicious this morning (cold, damp, rain/sleet).

Michelle, I think that many people who have mobility problems are worse in the morning, so why shouldn't it be that way for kitties, too. Maybe a heating pad would help? Enjoy your swim day with Nicholas. The early-spring pictures along the river were lovely, and Nick looks like he is having a wonderful time.

Nicholas and I have just returned form a morning in the pool. The fish continues to be THE FISH! :cool: :razz: :razz: He is even doing some doggie paddle from one side to the other, once in a while we even get some Nicky-style free style. It is s fun to watch him grow and develop in the pool. I will post the photo/video link in Mannie's condo tomorrow. :-D

562 @ PMPS. I wish I could say I was surprised... but I'm not. With that dive this morning it was a given there would be a mega bounce, and sure enough he is on the Moon again. AIyeee!!! Appy is awful tonight too - 10 cans, and I finally ended up with an HC gravy - it was all he would eat. Sheshhhhh - bet we hit the alpha floor tonight. :shock: :? :? He 's now sunny his face at the top of the stairs: gorgeous sunny day, and that spot is especially warm and sunny. :cool:

Mannie! Great fun again today ... we were busy for a chillaxin day. tossing the fireworks into the bonfire was FUN. i loved watching the sparkles they made. Hi Mary - I know... not much one can really say. With all he has going on no surprise that his BG take on such wild swings,.... very hard to control. Sorry for the late night visit, and thanks for yours this morning. So nice to see blue on Mannie, but like you said, there's a penalty to be paid for that fast drop.

Good luck on trying the heating pad. My old guy used to love laying on those polyester fiber PurrPads you can get at Petsmart. He also loved the sunbeams as much as it sounds like Mannie does.
