What an absolutely horrible day!
I got overly cautious this morning, since I was going to be spending roughly 4 hours at the dentist getting a crown. If she had been in her 'usual' range I would have been fine, but she was so much lower than normal I got nervous. Usually when she is so low she crashes again when I give her a full dose (that back-to-back crash thing she does 9 out of 10 times), so I just dropped it a tiny bit. (I am getting better at it, but am still nervous when I won't be around, obviously, since she drops sooooo fast.) Then her numbers were a bit higher during the day which I was expecting...still in the yellows. That was fine, not great, but fine.
But, I'm dog sitting, and then she ate their food! She has never eaten dog food in her life, and she's 11!! So tonight at her PMPS she is in the high pinks. I feel so discouraged right now. We were on such a nice path to steady blues (which would be greens if we were using a human meter).
Booooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
Here's hoping tomorrow is better.
