We just started Bella on 0.75 last night because she had like 6 cycles of numbers in the 200s and some 300s. Today +6 AMPS her BG was 80 so we gave her about half a can of a 5% food to raise her up a little and I just rechecked her (20 mins after she ate) and it’s 73. We just offered her a tsp of a 12% carb food and she doesn’t want it.

So now I’m worried because she won’t eat. Her numbers were in the 200/300s for days and with 2 cycles of 0.75 her BG is under 100. I know that it’s a good thing but it still makes me so nervous. I’m going to recheck her and see if her numbers are still going down.

What do I do now??

Feels like it’s low and freaks me out :( we have to leave the house for awhile to run some errands and I didn’t want to leave her if her numbers were dropping. She was 80 at +6 then 73 +6.5.

I just checked and +7 hours AMPS it’s 72. So does that mean it shouldn’t really go lower? We need to leave the house for a little bit but don’t want to if it’s not safe to.

So does this mean she earns a reduction again? I’m new to the TR and still don’t understand.
 
Those are pretty flat numbers ....what we here like to call a green surf :cat: . Also, its pretty late in the cycle so the BG may naturally start to rise.
When following TR, you reduce when the bg goes under 50.
How long will you be gone?

Just a few hours maybe like 2. So she would still get the 0.75 even if she got a number in the green? Just worry she would go lower than 50. We are traveling next week so when she’s with my mom we will be giving her 0.5 anyways.
 
Leave her out some food then test when you get back.
When you're away, you will probably have your mom give a "vacation dose" to keep her safe. Ask for a vacation dose a couple of days before you are schedule.
