wow, whilst I'm super happy to see that lovely green... holy diving batman!!!!! He's cleared the previous bounce only to set himself up for another one methinks!

yesterday: http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=67269

numbers yesterday:
AMPS 298
+2 183
+4 248 (Hubby's first test!!)
+7 392
PMPS 405
+2 253
+4 217

Happy happy cat this morning. Came and got me and jumped on his chair for test and breakfast! BEBT again! cleaned his plate 9with his lysine). Sleek shiny coat, clear eyes. Was NOT expecting that super low number at +2. Luckily hubby is home today fixing his boat motor so he will test him again for me at +3, I fed a little teensy bit of HC (FFeast) as I left the house. Rupert had a snack at +1, Friskies Salmon and EVO mixed, not a huge amount though. Hubby going to call me at 9:30 (+3) with numbers and that will determine if he gets to go put the motor back on the boat or stay home till lunchtime! NOT complaining. it's all good. Just wish Rupert would relinquish is king of the divers crown for a little while!!!

Re: 3/28 Rupert AMPS , 253, +2 68!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yay on that 68! way to go rupert. the good news is that your chart is showing how he's clearing the bounces better and faster. hopefully rupert's going to get used to the double digits and stay there more.

Re: 3/28 Rupert AMPS , 253, +2 68!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi guys .. wow I bet that opened up your eyes! I think rupert and gabby both hold diving champion crowns! Have a great day guys!

Re: 3/28 Rupert AMPS , 253, +2 68!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Holy Christmas and a half.....these sure ain't last week's numbers, Pip. :-D

Hey Rupert, you stay off that trampoline now, you hear?

Re: 3/28 Rupert AMPS , 253, +2 68, +3 106

he's back to blue.. just. and pretty quickly too. Hm.. wonder if the +2 was an error? we'll never know! I'll be getting his +6 in just over an hour so that will tell if he's already bouncing from the 68 or if he's holding nicely in some blue today. THAT would be my preference!

but yes. sure is a great difference from just a few weeks ago, and definitely the dental made all the difference.

Re: 3/28 Rupert AMPS , 253, +2 68, +3 106,+6 324 KERBOING!

+6 and 324! seriously?! kerboing. silly boy. Lessons being learnt here though. obviously he responds WELL to HC food so I'll keep a stash of MC food on hand for next lower number and take it slower on the feeding. Didn't really know how he'd react till now, so it's all good data. He looks good although I"m sure he must feel a bit odd going from one eld of the scale to the other in such a short time. Guess he wanted to ride a rainbow today! so far, yellow, green, blue, pink.. and I'm guessing red PMPS... hope I"m wrong. Wonder what he'll do tonight. I guess this is all part of 'liver training'!

Re: 3/28 Rupert PMPS 286

PMPS and in the yellow, 286.. so.. bounce clearing already? wow, you'd think he'd be dizzy for all the up and down today. Instead, he's perky, happy, hungry and sleek and shiny. Hoping he doesn't dive at +2 again?! could it be possibly that+2/+3 is his nadir? surely that is too early? Interestingly today.. he was in the pinks at lunchtime and dipped to yellow for PMPS......doesn't usually dip after the +6/7 mark. Just when I think I have a handle on his patterns!!. Anyway, it's all good.

good ride on Norky (that's what we call Harvey, my big anglo arab gelding.. because that's the sound he makes about every other second as he spooks at something.. NORK!), gonna cook up dinner and then, if Rupert allows (!), over to visit the parental units in their new place.

Hope everyone had a good evening and all the bouncers slow down and pick a floor to party on tonight!

Re: 3/28 Rupert PMPS 286

Hi Pip, I guess you were wrong about his PMPS. :-D :-D We keep saying there is no point in expecting anything because it's never right. Maybe we should always expect pink or red so they are never there?  Great WCR on your boy.

Re: 3/28 Rupert PMPS 286

PMPS +1 and a pink, 313.. he's just trying to confuse me! Probably logical.. he's had his dinner so this could be a food spike. we have to zip out but will be back by +3 time... I don't even want to TRY to guess what colour he'll throw then!!!

Re: 3/28 Rupert PMPS 286,+1, 313

Wow! That dive and jump up could not have felt good. Latte did that often. It was really hard to watch. Many times I did a retest because I could not believe my eyes.

Might be worth experimenting with a feeding @ +1, since Rupert can really drop hard at +2 or so.

Re: 3/28 Rupert PMPS 286,+1, 313

+3.5 and he's cruisin' in yellow - 270. He sure looks fabulous tonight. you'd think with all the diving/bouncing he'd feel really bizarre but he's just looking better and better every day. Sleek, glossy black coat, was outside when we got home just now, stomped in looking very bossy, then came right back out with us as we went to put the rugs on the horses and give them their evening feed. Ran up the path in front of us (because we are apparently far too stupid to find our own way home without a 'guide cat'!) and came inside for his pre bedtime snack. Had some steak bits for his ear poke and is VERY happy about that and now is preening under the dining room table. All is very good in Rupie world And it looks like I can get to bed at a reasonable time tonight! wheee. Tomorrow is another adventure in rainbow land waiting to happen I guess!

hope everyone has a great night and all the kitties are safe and warm in LL. Hugs to BigMac and his bean.... he sounds like a very lucky cat, and a very tough fella, hope he's feeling better tomorrow and can come home soon.
