Yesterday on Ruby's World.
In the evening as I was getting ready to test Ruby for her PMPS, two gray mourning doves landed on the fire escape, cooing and preening themselves. Both cats snapped to a kind of fierce attention: ears forward, tails low and straight, necks craned like prairie dogs on alert, still like marble statues. They made that crazy eek-eek-eek noise that cats only make when they are hunting. I had to wait until the birds flew away before I could get Ruby to calm down and let me test her because she kept looking at the window, waiting for the return of the birds. So glad the springtime has brought Bird TV back for the cats!
Healing thoughts for all of the sick kitties and hugs to you beans. Enjoy your Sunday!
