Lovely day in Pollywood. If you're a furred, four-footer! Polly and Rowsie are sleeping soundly on the bed...gasp! Boomer is curled next to me on the couch rumble purring in his sleep. And Will. On the loveseat sleeping off a three mile run (about a mile for me; I saunter on the trails!) and fun times at a friend's house last night.

I'm looking a laundry, decluttering a week's house mess, and mowing the weeds out front by the street. I'd rather be a cat!

Boomer results. Not unexpected, but still disappointing. Squamous cell carcinoma. Two months? Two years? Depends on when it returns 'cuz last week's surgery couldn't get it all. He's decided I'm a pushover and chants "tuna tuna tuna" at feeding time. So, like a dutiful pushover, I'm stocking up on tuna cat food. Whatever the little boy wants!

So sorry about Boomer. Sometimes life doesn't seem fair.Will think positive that he has a long life ahead of him. Looks like Polly is getting good numbers. So glad you had a good time at your friends last night.

((((Marilyn)))) I am so sorry about Boomer's diagnosis. That is tough, such a nasty disease. I'm glad he's working the tuna angle with you. Smart guy. :joyful: And I see Polly is doing her best to distract you. :D Big hugs to you.

Im so sorry about Boomers news:bighug:.. even if it wasnt unexpected, it still had to be hard to hear it. Polly is looking really good lately..look at all those greens yesterday too:D..maybe she runs a bit higher today and settles down into some lower blues and maybe green again.
 
So sorry to hear Boomer's diagnosis, just give him tons of love, quality time and tins of tuna, hugs and prayers he has more than +2 years.
 
I know that's not what you wanted to hear about Boomer, but don't give up hope. Callie was diagnosed with stomach cancer in September 2013. They told me there was nothing they could do for her and she's still with me. I hope Boomer has lots of time with you too. Make the most of each day and just take it one day at a time. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
 
:(((((((Marilyn & Boomer))))) Dammit! Hugs to the both of you!!! Even the most brilliant doctors cannot predict the future- my 88 year old mother is a cancer survivor when doctors gave her no hope. I know that you will cherish every single second of your time with Boomer, and spoil him with all the tuna or prime rib or whatever his little heart desires. In the meantime, here is a first installment truckload of healing vines and white light and you will be in our prayers.
 
Oh no. Would you consider trying radiation? I know some people that had success with surgery followed by radiation. If you want more info let me know. Can you post the full biopsy report or PM it to me? Shiploads of vines to Boomer. :bighug::bighug:
 
I'm very sorry about Boomers diagnosis. If loving has anything to do with it (and I'm sure it does) then I do expect him to defy the odds. At any rate I think it's really more about the quality than the quantity and Boomer sure does have good quality with you for his bean :bighug::bighug::bighug:

My house clutter is trying to goad me into doing something about it too, but when there's kitty love to be had... Well that's my excuse anyway ;)
 
((((marilyn))))) i'm so sorry for Boomer's results. You know we are sending lots of healing vines to Boomer, and come down into greens vines to miss polly.

Enjoy your little ones. Housework can wait.:bighug:
 
Oh Marilyn, so sorry for the disappointing results from Boomer's biopsy. He's so lucky to have a pushover like you loving him. Lots and lots of vines for a best-case scenario and odds defying 2+ years. :bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hoping Polly gives you a relaxing evening with excellent, non-stressful numbers.
