3/28 Mocha 1 week OTJ - 52

Well mocha came in on her 1 week annifursary at a nice 52! She's been happy and playful, more kitten like since we stopped all the shots .. Each night both her and twix get into their playful moods and one will be on the inside door frame of our bedroom and the other will be on the inside door frame of the room next to that door, and they will peer out of the doors at each other and then take off in hot pursuit .. soon we hear the patio door blinds hitting each other swinging about at the other end of the house and then before we know it, we see a flash of cats running back here to start it all over again .. it can be pretty funny!

Today is my birthday and as for a birthday gift peter is taking me to the dentist this afternoon to have a wisdom tooth pulled out .. nailbite_smile I tend to have high anxiety stress levels over things like this so the dentist called in some Valium for me :lol:

Not sure having a wisdom tooth pulled is the best way to celebrate though :lol: Hope the dental visit goes well and you get some good pain killers.

So wonderful to hear Mocha is so playful and happy, YAY Mocha!
 
I hope Peter has something a little more celebratory and a lot less uncomfortable planned for your birthday!!

It's great to hear how well Mocha is doing. I look forward to your posts -- especially in the AM.
 
Hearing about Mocha and Twix playing absolutely made my day. She is feeling the love (no shots :lol: ).

Maybe we can celebrate again once you are recovered from the dentist and valium. Valium is good. I would do this also. Sending hugs.
 
Happy Birthday Devon and good luck with the wisdom tooth. You can always celebrate later, as it sounds important to take care of that tooth! Congratulations on 2 week OTJ for Mocha!

Well, gee...Peter is very thoughtful....(and we know that bouquets bring trouble for a kitty household, so yeah, the removal of a wisdom tooth is the next best thing.) :lol:

Big party day at your place, eh? Great story about your "kittens" running around! :mrgreen:

Thank you everyone! And no, having a wisdom tooth pulled wasn't my idea of birthday fun either .. but it needed to come out and this was the first opening they had so I took it .. Thankfully peter is coming home and will take care of me so I can be as big of a baby as I want!
 
Wonderful news on Mocha, not such wonderful news for Devon - but I would take this in a heartbeat...!!

Ugh about the wisdom teeth.

This is peter. Devon made it out of the dentist's office in about 30 minutes, and did real well. She's pretty knocked out and sore, but I got her some KFC mashed potatoes and mac&cheese, so she's about as happy as she's gonna get in her current state. She is absolutely hysterical on valium and the gas. The dentist numbed her and said ok, and she started to sit up and said "all done?" Then she gave him a big thumbs up at the end. She'll feel a lot better tomorrow. Right now she's got a big brown medicine bear making her feel better. That and a couple vicodin.
 
Hi Peter, bet you don't have youtube footage that can go viral - like David goes to the Dentist :lol: I'm glad she got the valium and some vicodin. Owie!!!

Happy Birthday, Devon. Sorry the birthday wishes are a little late tonight but I'm just catching up with everything. What a way to celebrate your birthday with a tooth pulling, although between the valium and vicodin, you have to be feeling pretty good. I know Peter is taking good care of you!

Happy anniversary to Mocha -- what a great week!
 
Happy Birthday on day late! thank goodness I found the FB one. I hope you had a great birthday - sorry for the dental thing, but I hope it went ok.

And Mocha is doing wonderfully. Such a great success story. It is great ta read about the play with her and Twix - just so much fun. Congrats to you all on Mocha's one week annifursary.
