Leo is engaged in a self-boxing match and tail chasing event on his chair interspersed with episodes of "Stop and Lick, Stop and Lick." He ate better yesterday than any day. But like any day, I have to specifically encourage eating at his nadir because he doesn't seem to care about getting up for food around that time. Too lazy. The mere act of me coming home around lunch to test him brings in wandering out with sleepy eyes to feed (usually) unasked. Fart.
Bean is tired, as always. Mannie - can't wait for a special delivery! We need to travel today and I need to be WIDE AWAKE :shock: :shock: :shock: You da' best little Barista!
Today is travel day this afternoon. I am going to withhold the Cerenia today. The last several trips, getting the pill down him results in a massive froth-and-drool event. It is terrifically sad. And he's not using the LB in the car anymore. He just squats where ever he is and does what he needs. The Cerenia makes him tired and not so hungry and I'm wondering if that wooziness makes him care less about making it to the box. In the beginning, he *always* aimed for the box (so to speak), even on Cerenia. So, grasping at straws. Of course, this means there's a very good chance he'll blow chunks, but what's one bodily fluid against the other? MORE PEE PADS must be placed everywhere. Sometimes the pukus is not as contained as the poopies/pees.
Leo is lower this AMPS ... annoying because I normally wouldn't come home for lunch on travel day. Leaving out higher carb and hope to leave earlier. Today's dose ... maybe a tad larger.
Thank you Ella, Wendy, Carla and Amy for your visits last night. I was exhausted, bobbing head over a book trying to make the +2. At least Leo was out galavanting around at the Full Maple Sugaring Moon Party last night!
