3/28 Comet AMPS 116. Sick day

Comet is doing incredible today although he is still really struggling with letting me take BG. We got new treats and they are just chicken and he loves them so I give after we test. However, he knows when its time and will hide and run away from me. On top of that, I'm really sick this week which makes it even harder.

Sorry you are so sick, take good care of yourself.

Try tempting Comet with a treat before the test, maybe he will be more willing to come out? Even a couple of chicken bits before might get him thinking on right track, and then of course a treat after. Eating the chicken right before the test isn't going to immediately raise the BG, so you don't have to worry about that.

Soft warm blankets, a cup of hot tea, lots of sleep with a fuzzy puddy might make you get well faster. Here's hoping!
